[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Tide for a long time, I have tried other brands but nothing works as well.. in my opinion. This original scent liquid is providing my clothing with a decent smell and softness. And I am finding I am using less, per load, than ever before. I also do not feel it is fading my clothes at all, unlike other brands in the past have. The quality of the bottle and cap are typical. I do throw my cap in the washer with my load, without issue. For me, its 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This liquid laundry detergent has a good smell and it last longer like a perfume or cologne. It works good in dirty clothes and it removes stains. It doesn't make a mess when I pour it in the washing machine. Also, it doesn't irritate my son's sensitive skin.

As many reviewers have noted, I don't understand why the scent of Tide ‘original' changed. My family used Tide all of my life and as an adult I have also used it (30 years). How can you change the scent and still call it ‘original?' It doesn't smell as good and now has me considering changing detergents for the first time in my life. When have a good product, why change it?

I love the ease of the pods and the scent is subtle, not overpowering. The price is very reasonable for the way it cleans your clothes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past decade, I realized that we we have slowly moved away from Tide to more natural options and after using it again for the first time in years, I think we will be switching back to Tide Original. Clothes seem a little bit cleaner and sports clothing comes out clean and funk free, which is a must in our household. My favorite feature is the clean, lasting fresh scent. It simply can't be beat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know why we do this, but we always try using the less expensive detergents, and they always disappoint. This is a quality detergent, no doubts. Dissolves in all water temperatures and leaves your clothes sparkling. Nice scent too.

I can't say much about the quality of the detergent because I only used it twice and I can't stand to get close to the clothes because even after a 3 rd rinse they smell so bad. If this is supposed to be a :warm, rich scent with some woody notes", then I hate to think what they would call rotting cabbage. I ended up leaving it in the laundry room in my building and hope some one can find a use for it. I see that there are a lot of people complaining about how the smell has changed. I bought a different detergent and had to wash everything a 2nd time to get the scent (stench) out. I will NEVER buy Tide again

classic! has no scent in my opinion and it cleans the clothes well :) the one i have has a pump type thing and u open the cap for ventilation and i like that because it's easier to use but it is not good if u have kids because a child can easily push out the detergent and drink it so be careful
