I love Tide Original Detergent and it's the only one I use for my cold water washing. It works perfect. My clothes always smell fresh and clean. It leaves my clothes looking new and sharp. And it doesn't take a lot for each load. The cap has a great measure mark for convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually always purchase liquid clothes detergent and base my choices on what happens to be on sale at the time. They get the job done but usually come with very strong smelling fragrance that stays with my laundry during the time I am wearing the items. I don't really like that feature. I wear scrubs and the smell can be irritating to some of my patients. This Tide Original Liquid Detergent worked well on stains that I obtain at work without the added fragrance. I appreciated that. My scrubs just seemed a little "crisper" if that make any sense. I really liked it. Now is it worth the few extra dollars?? For me the answer just may be "yes". But I may wait for it to be on sale.

Tide Original smells like purfume now. P&G is so incompetent that they will not listen to the customers. They tell you to buy Mountain Spring which is hard to find in stock. I've told my local stores multiple times to order more, but hasn't helped. I've changed to Gain after using Tide since 1980s. Thanks for companies that are too big to fail. So ignorant and mind-boggling.

We are impressed. Also gets rid of the bad smells in tough to get out of fabrics. We will continue to buy Tide in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample free of charge from Tide and I am not only blown away by it's performance, but I love the smell as well This detergent tackled my heaviest loads and when you have 3 boys in the house under 10 years of age and a husband that can be pretty messy. But it also worked perfect with baby clothes as it was gentle and didn't leave a harsh feel or smell afterward. This is a great product and I would highly recommend this to anyone especially those with a HE washer/dryer.

I have never been on this website, didn't know about it. I found it because I was doing a search trying to find out if there has been a change in the formula. Please know I have used Tide all of my adult life - Im 72. When I can't find Mountain Spring I use Original. Mountain Spring is not carried anymore by Publix. OMG, it's terrible. Smells like body odor to me! I thought it was just me until I read all of the reviews here. What were you thinking!! Go back!!

What's going on with Tide?! Been using for 15 years, always trusted Original Tide for clean clothes and fresh scent. This one is different, after reading reviews they changed the “Original” scent and now the original is Mountain Spring?? How does that make sense?? The reviews for the original Tide have plummeted to 3.5 star rating merely bc they changed the scent, please fix this problem Tide. Love your products but I want to know Im using the Original that was in fact the Original, not “Mountain Spring” and yes scent is subjective and a personal preference but changing the original and still calling it original is not a welcome change. Will be looking at other detergent brands until the Original Tide is back. Please consider going back to original scent Tide, thank you!!

I normally cannot afford to buy Tide and was very happy to have this opportunity. With Tide, you don't need any fancy scents or features. It just works. You don't even need a separate stain remover. When people talk about really great laundry detergents, Tide is always at the top of the list. I wholeheartedly agree!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Dental Assistant and have to wash my scrubs daily. I only trust Tide to do that with. Once you wash with tide, the scent locks in for weeks, not to mention it keeps my colors fresh and stain free. I'll never use anything else!!!
