I don't even pretreat messy clothes and I have no problem with getting them out with just detergent. I suggest anyone looking for a great detergent try Tide.

The recommended amounts amounts were perfect for my varying baskets of laundry. The scent is fresh and clean, without being overbearing. My clothes felt revitalized and soft. I noticed a significant difference after using Tide, everything looked renewed and any dullness was gone. I used the product on lightly soiled and heavily soiled pieces with favorable outcomes for all. Very effective, high quality detergent- would recommend to friends and family.

My clothes smell fresh, look clean and the colors stay bright. The original scent isn't overpowering, yet it leaves your clothes smelling like you hung your clothes outside to dry in a field of crisp air. Absolutely love Tide!

I have found that the animal fat used in the liquid HE product leaves a residue on the inner drum of the washer causing it to smell like mildew. It is difficult to remove the smell. I'm not sure but I think this product can only be used when doing HOT Hot water washes. The residue has left black marks on many of my white clothes requiring rewashing. The powdered HE doesn't seem to cause this same problem. I am now wondering if all of Tides liquid products contain animal fat!

Tide has always been my favorite laundry detergent. It's been used in my family generation after generations. When using it my laundry comes out super clean and smells really fresh. It removes stains from clothing after one washing and the scent last for weeks. Available at a very affordable price and made with great quality ingredients. Tide will always be a part of my laundry regimen. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide Original gets all of my laundry clean and smelling fresh. I like the scent of the original because it is not too strong, but it still provides freshness to my towels, sheets and clothing. It is easy to pour out the right amount because the cap has markings on the inside. I have been able to get out stains such as grease and sauce with a small amount of Tide. The 100 oz size is great for me because I do a lot of laundry every week and it will still last a long time. Tide Original is also great for pre-treating stains.
