I recently bought the original scent after my daughter said she used Tide pods and her clothes smelled nice. I used Tide original many years ago and remember it had a pleasant scent. Well, this smells like wet towels left in a pile for days. I even used a cleaning tablet in my almost new top loader but when I used Tide, the smell came back. It's not moisture, it's this “original” scent. Why?

I got this because I wanted to use less plastics but so far its been a massive failure. This does not dissolve at all and cakes onto my clothing. I tried shaking it in a jar of hot water and then dumping in my machine but I am having the same issues, everything is coming out with powder on it. When I run the load again with just water, it still doesn't come off, I have to physically scrub this powder off. Really not happy, only thing I like about it is the fragrance.

Pods are an easy to use method but this is almost as simple. Leaves clothes of any lights, darks or colors looking as good as new and smelling great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love tide. I wish it was cheaper but it definitely cleans better than "value detergent" . It has a fresh clean smell that stays. Most detergents fade very quickly but tide keeps your clothes fresh longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked that the clear cap was a measuring cup with multiple choices for loads. Poured the detergent directly on the very soiled kitchen towel. Washed on cold. It came out 90% clean. It still showed some very light spots. Next time I'll wash in warm water.

I hate that some other brands of HE detergent do not seem to sud enough, but this one doesn't have that problem. It cleans my clothes well without needing any extra stain treatment for my kids socks and everyday stains and I love the smell!

The best fabric detergent out there in my opinion. Everything always smells fresh and clean and nothing needs to be re-washed, always gets the stains out on the first try. Great concentrated liquid so you don't have to use much in your wash to get full power.
