Preforms as you would expect it to and actually gets the laundry clean with a lasting fresh scent. Used it directly on stains prior to washing and didn't let me down.

I'm a guy who has to do laundry regardless and to me, detergent is detergent. As long as it cleans my clothes and it makes my clothes smell exceptional, I'm satisfied. But with Tide Original, I feel like this detergent exceeded my expectations. It made my clothes look brand new again and smell amazing. Tide is the only detergent we've found that gives your clothes a deep clean, breaking up and removing stains. We no longer pretreat our clothes with sprays, but instead pour a little Tide on the stain to soak before washing it. It's like magic! And the original scent leaves your clothes smelling fresh even in this summer heat.

I liked that it was nice and thick, not watered down. After using Tide Original my clothes were clean and smelled clean. I would recommend Tide Original Liquid Detergent to anyone who wants fresh, clean clothes.

The scent stayed on my towels and I really loved how fresh and clean everything smelled. It has been years since I used this detergent, but now I have bought it and I'm using it! Tide really has made a change in the new formula and it really is an improved product. It cleans and smells great!

The smell is honestly one of the best, super clean and fresh smelling without being too overwhelming, I noticed that when I'd be done with my laundry the smell still lingers on my clothes which I enjoy. This product always gets my clothes perfectly clean, I had a stained blanket that needed washed and I had forgotten to put stain remover on it however it came out completely removed thanks to this detergent, I was honestly impressed. I will always count on Tide as this brand will never let me down.

Yes, my laundry looked clean when I was done, but it had me wondering about the health and well being of my family. This product felt like posion to me. I know it's been around a long time, but maybe it's time for them to be a little more enviroment and human friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tide Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent is so good, it's no surprise it's most known everywhere. It cleans clothes very well and also smells great. It leaves your clothes smelling fresh and clean even when no softener is used. This size bottle says it's good for 25 loads but I have been able to stretch it out even longer. It works great with my HE washer and doesn't leave any detergent stains on my clothes.

P&G you've done it again. First you changed the original scent of Downy a few years back and now you've changed the original scent of Tide. Why change a good thing? Why not just come out with a new scent instead of changing a classic? Since y'all probably won't change the scent back like Downy hasn't switched back even after losing many long time customers, I have an idea. Why not come out with a Tide and Downy classic scent? For those of us who never thought the scents needed to be changed in the first place. I'll still buy other Tide scents and other P&G detergents, ONLY because all other detergent brands smell like glass cleaner to me. But I'm not happy about the scent change and I think it says a lot about what Tide and P&G think of their customer's full satisfaction.
