I’ve used this product twice now it’s amazing if you follow the directions correctly. It kills the weeds and really does prevent them from growing and spreading. I advise using it twice a year in the spring and the fall . When I applied the product in the fall of 2023 the weeds so far this year 2024 are very few .

The summary title says it all. I've had fertilizers begore with tiny dry clumps, but they are always easy to pulverize while wearing garden gloves. But this bag was a mess inside when first opened. The bag was completely sealed proor to my opening. The top had the expected dry granules. But next came hard grey chunks, that i couldnt break up even trying to smash the hard rocklike cjunks against a brick wall. The nottom of bag had a wet grainy mess of sticky gey clumps

I purchased this product because I was struggling to get rid of a few weeds. I normally NEVER buy a weed ad feed together, but because I trust Scott's, andthe weeds weren't responding to any other treatments, and the new formula intrigued me...so I gave this product a try. I followed instructions as usual, and so far (2 weeks after application) the only results I've seen are a few browned weeds surrounded by burnt & dying grass. I've worked really hard to grow a beautiful lawn, & now everyday I pull in my driveway I see more & more of my lawn dying. Due to this experience, I won't ever use this product, or a weed & feed combo again. Back to square one I guess...

Wet grass, apply it. then give it 24-48 hours to adhere to weeds then water it in. Works exactly as I hoped. I'm currently in running for greenest grass in the neighborhood. maybe these people with bad results are over fertilizing or over/under watering. I don't know but this stuff worked great for me.

We had a green lawn, but had some weeds. Used the product and this is what happened. I was looking on the website to locate a place to contact Scott’s and it wasn’t easily located, so I’m giving a review in hopes they’ll contact me to talk about it. This same thing happened to the lawn at my work, only worse, around the same time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder works wonders on my lawn and i was able to see awesome results. Not only does it knock out clover, but it takes the ants out too. Super easy to apply and covers a large area with the bag size I had (which was pretty small). Definitely check this one out!

This product is quite hit or miss. Last season I used as directed two times on my lawn. I was impressed with how quickly and actively the weeds withered. It should be said I applied in mid March in Oklahoma. This year I did the same thing. It’s been about 10 days now and I have not a single withered weed. Perhaps I got a bad bag or something, but I may just end up switching to a different product in a few weeks.
