[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turf Builder Plus II works very well to control those early spring weeds like dandelions and crab grass. However if one over applies it, it can burn your lawn out. I have a Scotts Accugreen 3000 broadcast spreader, you would think with the spteader being a Scotts product you would think the setting for this spreader would be on the bag, but it wasn't. And as I recall, (now I could be wrong on this) but as I remember I could not find the setting for this spreader on the Scott's website for Turfbuilder I I.

I would never use any other product. I take great pride in my lawn and look forward to the results I get each year using Scotts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Waited till the lawn was mowed a time or two prior to applying, and to allow the temperature to come up a bit. A recent rain gave me the opportunity I was looking for to have a damp yard to lay down the turf builder weed and feed. Good coverage and after only a few days the weeds are starting to wilt.

I used this with my drop spreader. The granules are so fine that my drop spreader couldn’t get them to come out of the holes and I could not see them on the ground to insure they were spreading. The setting on the bag was 5. I had to set it to 14 just to get them out. They kept clogging up the holes and I had to continually wipe the holes to keep them clear. I have never had this problem before and I use nothing but Scotts products. Don’t buy this if you have a drop spreader. Quite a nightmare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied as directed and it works like you say on the product package, I use all the Scotts fertilizer products in the season by season order and have not been disappointed in the outcome, just follow the directions.

The product is more expensive than Scott’s Bonus S weed and feed. But in my opinion less effective in getting rid of clover. My neighbor used Bonus S weed and feed and it killed all the clover in her yard. This product says Guaranteed to kill dandelions and clover. I don’t know how to inform Scott’s that it did not kill clover .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this on my front and back yard which are on a 1/4 acre lot. The backyard has 3/4 of the lawn covered in thick short weeds and the front had clovers everywhere. I applied this product per the directions using a Scotts brand broadcast spreader. After a month, not a single weed in the front or back has shown any signs of deteriorated health, let alone death and the clovers only seemed to get stronger spreading further. Only changing temperatures finally made them go away for the time being.

AFTER PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT ALL IT DID WAS KILL 10 PERCENT OF THE WEEDS YET MANAGED TO KILL 35 PERCENT OF MY FRONT LAWN INCLUDING A ROSE BUSH. NEVER HAVE I HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH A SCOTT'S PRODUCT UP UNTIL USING THEIR TURF BUILDER. SAUD ISN'T CHEAP THANKS A LOT.

I have used this for years and it's really only good for stimulating growth. doesn't kill dandelions; I still have to pull them. Doesn't get rid of clover at all. Why have I used it for years? Great question. I am only just now reading the label and noticing it doesn't do what it promises.

Sticks to the weeds, and you can see results fast. My yard is looking lush and weed free. I like this product because it's a two-in-one product, it kills weeds and fertilizes my existing grass, plus it's quick and easy to apply. This is a great product and really works well.
