I am totally impressed with this new formulation. I used 4 large bags, enough to cover 60,000 sq. ft. on the lawns where I work and have virtually eliminated the infestation of dandelions, clover, wild morning glory and purslane from the lawns. We had a very mild winter here in Colorado and the weeds have taken advantage of the mild weather but this product has put a (at least temporary) halt to them.

Bought this 15,000 square foot bag because the front of the bag clearly states "clears out dandelions & clover - guaranteed". Tried calling but didn't want to wait 30 minutes. The clover is flourishing and sprouting lovely white flowers. Why? Weeds are slowly dying. What's my guarantee regarding the clover issue? Please advise.

Wet grass, apply it. then give it 24-48 hours to adhere to weeds then water it in. Works exactly as I hoped. I'm currently in running for greenest grass in the neighborhood. maybe these people with bad results are over fertilizing or over/under watering. I don't know but this stuff worked great for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Turf Builder Weed & Feed works well for killimg most weed and helps to feed the lawn in the spring. I have watched as weed disappear in the lawn. With all the rain we have had, the feed part has helped the lawn grow quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We only use Scott's in our yard as we found out the hard way the other brands do not work as well. As a result we have a beautiful yard. Now if only my neighbors would do something to beautify their yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice Product. I like the uniform small size and how it distrubutes so well. I also appreciate that it finally seems like the included settings for the scotts elite spreader. My only comment or complaint is how you need to apply the product when the grass is damp. I applied in the am with the grass damp from dew. I dislike how much seems to stick to the wheels and spreader base that is in contact with the grass. Ultimately it dries and can be brushed or rinsed off. I do feel the quality is high. I would benefit from 5k vs the smaller 4k bag size. Not sure why, but be aware if you dont look close but rather at large vs small bag. Just applied so waiting for green up to occur. I don't have lots of weeds so hopefully this knocks the tiny ones out.

Very disappointed!!! I have been using Scott’s products for the past 4years with great results. I bought a 15000sq ft bag of weed and feed when I noticed some weeds this year. I applied accordingly to instructions on the bag, it did NOTHING to weeds and left yellow spots on my grass. I don’t know what happened to Scott’s weed and feed formula. Waste of money. Will never buy this product again and do not recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent Product as it was delivered just as my yard was turning bright yellow . Applied as suggested and the yellow is disappearing . Seam like a really bad year for this yellow pest in 2025 as lawns are loaded

Weeds shrivel up and begin to die back within a few days of product application. And the fertilizer actively feeds your lawn and promotes healthy growth of your lawn.

The weeds did not go away The graSS itself was somewhat greener. Finally paid a landscape guy to do it and the weeds disappeared and grass was green and weed free.
