First time, after 2 years of Scotts' products, that I am totally disappointed. Used this product on wet yard and now have even more dandelions than before spreading. I have no idea what I am supposed to do now, at the start of the yard maintenance season.

Applied exactly as instructions specified, even used a scotts spreader. Its 7 days later and my wife just chuckles because the lawn looks exactly as it did before we applied. I actually think we may have even more weeds than we did before. I really wanted it to work as its easy to apply but not happy about performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product did an excellent job addressing the dandelions, other weeds, and greening up my yard after winter. The only issue I ran into was it did not manage to kill the thistle that is taking over part of my lawn. I will have to look for another product, or perhaps put down another application of the weed and feed. Time will tell.

I put this down a week ago following the instructions regarding temps, spreader settings, etc. Although come of the clover spots have turned a bit yellow, they are not dead and the rest of the weeds are still growing with new dandelions popping up yesterday. The grass is greener however. If I had to guess, I'd say quality control at Scotts dropped the ball.

I purchased this Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed 3 for my lawn and for my mothers lawn which is in a nearby town (same soil and climate conditions). On both lawns, I applied the product EXACTLY as instructed and I even went out and got a Scott's spreader which I calibrated per instructions to insure the precise application amount. My yard is about 23,000 sq.ft. and my mom's about 18,000. It has now been 2 weeks, and I swear BOTH LAWNS have MORE DANDELIONS and CLOVER than they did to start. The violets or whatever the small purple flowered weed also seems to be proliferating. I think the weeds are asking for more, it was delicious! My lawn actually has more weeds than either neighbor on either side, neither of whom treated their lawns in any way. Since I can not reapply (instructions say only 2 times per year Spring and Fall) this is a COLOSSAL waist of pretty big money.

I used this with my drop spreader. The granules are so fine that my drop spreader couldn’t get them to come out of the holes and I could not see them on the ground to insure they were spreading. The setting on the bag was 5. I had to set it to 14 just to get them out. They kept clogging up the holes and I had to continually wipe the holes to keep them clear. I have never had this problem before and I use nothing but Scotts products. Don’t buy this if you have a drop spreader. Quite a nightmare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used several bargain brands in the past but their effectiveness is alway marginal. It usually take several applications that one application of Scotts achieves. Just make sure the grass/weeds are damp during application so that the product sticks to the weeds. I only wish Scotts would replace 2,4D with a less toxic chemical. Wear gloves when applying and don't wear the same shoes into the house.

Not only did I save money, but using only Scotts products I had the greenest, best looking lawn on the block. Turf Builder with Weed and Feed was easy to use, knocked down the weeds and greened up my lawn nicely. I applied one treatment in a troubled common area in my subdivision and it took care of the dandelions. Those seeds never had a chance to blow in my yard. I am looking forward to seeing what the lawn looks like this year. Their app is pretty cool too.

Within days, I could already see them begin to shrivel up. This is a great product that I use every year and highly recommend. Now all I see is green grass.
