I’ve never write Walmart reviews but This stuff worked perfectly for my yard and saved me from redoing the entire thing. I could not be happier. I had to remove a few by hand with a weed puller but most of them dissolved into nothing. I used a hand crank feeder (not Scott’s brand just a random one) to apply to the hard. I followed directions to the letter and again it worked so well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turf Builder Weed/Feed I used this spring on a 16,000 sq. lawn andI thought that With the mix. I would not have enough of the weed killer to do the job. I was wrong. It did a great job. I will be using it again this spring.

I purchased a 5000 sq foot bag, it wasn't enough. So early in the morning part of my lawn was fertilized. I went back for a second bag but wasn't able to apply it until late afternoon, early evening. Low and behold with a 10% chance of rain- it rained. The part done in the early AM looks great- thick and green. The weeds in this area are dying slowly. The other half of my lawn, not so much. I realize this is likely due to user error of course. So now I have questions. 1) Can I reapply to the second half of the lawn? 2) We also have crab grass- the back of the back does not list crabgrass- so what do I do now? 3) Being a good neighbor- I covered my neighbors rose bushes, etc to make certain nothing got on them, they are 100+ years old- if it is calm is it necessary to go to that length? 4) How soon after application can areas be reseeded or sod laid? This information was not on the bag. This is my first time growing a lawn- I can grow anything- except for grass where I want it.

Like many others have stated, this product kills grass as well. I used a Scott's Speedy Green drop spreader. The instructions say to use on a damp lawn. The problem is that the moisture causes the product to stick to the wheels on the spreader. Now I have yellow stripes all over my lawn which used to be one of the nicer lawns on my block.

This is the second year in a row that I used this product. Last year I used tte liquid version attached to my garden hose. With in 3 days my lawn was dead, burnt and brown. I thought that perhaps I used too much of it. This year I decided to go with the dry granules hoping for a better result. No such luck. I folloewd the instructions on the back of the bag and again I have burnt, brown, dead grass. However, instead of large patches I now have stripes. I paid good money to have the sod laid and twice Scott's Weed and Feed has destroyed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use, on the back of the bag tells what setting to put your spreader on so that takes the guess work out of it. I applied when the grass was still a little wet from a spring shower so the granuals stick better. It works pretty fast and is effective on a lot of weeds but also makes your grass greener and thicker. Dont use if its too windy. My yard is looking good

Missed one year and the lawn was loaded with clover and dandelions so I know it works well. I occasionally need to sprinkle some extra on the tough patches that pop up a few weeks later.

I purchased Turf Builder Weed and Feed for the first time. I had previously used another fertilizer for years and spot treated for weeds. This product never 'greened up' the lawn and the weeds are worse than ever. Very disappointed considering the cost and the weed control claim. I followed instructions exactly as directed. Will take advantage of the guarantee.

A friend and also a neighbor recommended Scott's products and specifically the turf builder weed and feed. Saw a huge reduction in both dandelion and clover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I applied the turf builder with the weed & feed the weather turned dry instead of the usual wet Spring. I didn't want to water the lawn so I waited until it rained. When it did finally did rain the lawn went KaBoom! The growth was dramatic the lust green grass was impressive and there wasn't a sign of a weed!
