HAve use Scotts products for years with good results but this time when i opened the bag the procuct was wet and in bug clumps. Hat to return and by fertilizer elsewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first year I used Scott's turf builder. My yard has barely any shade where as crab grass and dandelions are prone to grow. I actually started the application early and put a second application down mid summer. The product worked great. My yard was crab grass/dandelion free!

I applied Scotts Turf Builder weed & feed to my lawn about 2 weeks ago to take care of clovers that were starting to pop up. This product had absolutely no effect on any of the existing clovers. I now have all the old patches of clovers getting bigger and new patches popping up all over the yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product did an outstanding job in eradicating the existing weeds in my yard, but also has limited and reduced the emergence of any additional weeds while the surrounding area has several species of weeds growing. I recommend this product.

I don't know if this falls on Scotts or the big orange box store but this was the worst experience I've ever had with spreading any granular product, the whole bag was just giant clumps. I'm still a big fan of Scotts though but keep an eye on quality control!

Wet grass, apply it. then give it 24-48 hours to adhere to weeds then water it in. Works exactly as I hoped. I'm currently in running for greenest grass in the neighborhood. maybe these people with bad results are over fertilizing or over/under watering. I don't know but this stuff worked great for me.

I applied this product on 9/29/21 as per Scott’s season plan. As of today, my lawn is dying. Temps have been in range to use and we’ve had a fair amount of rain since 9/29. Now what do I do? Before this application my lawn was geeen and thick with some weeds but not covering more than 1/2 the lawn. Spreader settings were as directed on the bag. HELP!!!

Have been using Scotts for past few years, resulting in a thick green lawn. however there were many weeds. I called Scotts numerous times about using weed and feed at this point in the season , and was told as long a the temp is below 85 and you follow the instructions, there should be no problems. I followed the instruction exactly and used a Scotts spreader, with the prescribed setting of 3 1/2. the result is numerous large burned out patches all over the lawn, much more extensive than just some spot new seeding could fix. Looks like the entire lawn has to be turned over and reseeded. Very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product for 20 years and using a drop spreader behind my lawn tractor, year end and year out I allways have a lush green yard and with no weeds and no yellow flowers! My fathers yard has a lot more clay content with quite a few poor grass areas that seemed were allways bare. He tried many liquid grass/soil treatments but these all falied. I brought up my spreader and a few large bags of Scotts' Turf Builder with "halts" and a few weeks later his lawn was healthy and lush and it was never that dark green and his lawn became the envy of that neighborhood just the same as mine every year!
