You should notice the weeds begin to curl and yellow a few days after application due to this excessive growth. The weeds will die within 2 to 4 week period, depending on temperature conditions. My mistake

Probably a great product, I gave it a 2 only because it is not pet friendly, I didn't noticed that when I bought it.
