Don’t exactly know what it is about the formulation of Scott’s products, but their products have ALWAYS produced better results for me for over 30 years. Always worth a few more shekels to buy the good stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found product easy-to-use and did a great job, I've always been pleased with how well it keeps dandelions out.

I used this for the first time last spring. It cleared out the clover and the dandelions and thickened by grass. This year I am trying Step 1 in early spring to get rid of any crabgrass and them I will use the Turf Builder later in the spring.

I applied this product on April 16 and it did not kill clover. I have retreated the lawn today with a competitive product, that makes the same claim. Scotts products are pricey but are usually better than this.

I carefully read all the instructions for use of the product and applied before I left for a long weekend. When I returned I noticed that much of the fescue I had seeded earlier in the spring was turning yellow! Will not use again!

I have used this product before and it has worked very well for me. The bag I opened today had wet clumpy fertilizer inside. There’s no way it will spread with my Scott’s rotary spreader.
