I love this set

Going in with a philosophy of, 'nothing lasts forever ' I decided on a mid-range mid-priced cook set. I'd owned Cuisinart before and after 20 years decided to start fresh. I love the finish and weight of my new set. I like the professional style lids though I sometimes miss my glass lids. Nothing boils over with the new lids though and I love that! I should have kept the large skillet from the old set as this one is about 3/4 the size; I was smart enough to keep my old grill pan however. Who knows? This set may last 20 years as well!

The jury's still out...

Though I got a great deal on my cookware, I am a bit disappointed with it. One of the pieces was used, so the set was returned and the customer failed to report they used it. It's disappointing that the cookware doesn't clean easily. Cooking spray doesn't come out easily, and of course the one used piece is stained and I don't know how to get it clean. It does work well with my cooktop stove which is why I purchased it. However, the fact that cleaning it is more work than my previous cookware causes me to wonder how great a choice it was...

Great and performance worthy cookware set!

I have been using my 12 piece triple ply stainless cookware set for a few weeks now. I bought the set as a replacement for my Martha Stewart stainless set that I have had for over 15 years. I loved my Martha Stewart pans and still do EXCEPT the lids are raised in the center which makes for less clearance for my fingers when I grab a hot lid resulting in burnt fingers! So after two years of isolating due to the pandemic, I decided to treat myself and upgrade to this set of pots and pans. I LOVE how they heat up so quickly. Much quicker than my old set! Yes, they do scratch on the inside of the pan, but so did my Martha Stewart pans. And the scratches don’t impact the pans’ performance. I haven’t put these new pans in the dishwasher, but maybe down the road, I will get lazy and do that. I never hesitated about putting my Martha Stewart set in the dishwasher, but I also paid a lot less for them. (And they always came out of the dishwasher just fine.) I did buy this set on sale around Christmas and felt for what I paid, it was a great value. My lids are also stainless steel. Some reviews said they were disappointed because they wanted to be able to see through the lid. I am the opposite, I did not want glass lids. Other reviewers commented that they wish a 12 inch frying pan was included in the set. I have an all-clad 12inch skillet which I rarely use because I feel it’s almost too big, so I don’t agree with that comment. I however, would have liked a smaller stock pot included in the set. My husband’s and my only complaint was that the top edge/rim on the steamer basket was razor sharp. It was like they forgot to buff it at the factory. I called Cusinart customer service and they sent me a replacement steamer free of charge. So obviously I think their customer service is terrific! The pans are heavier than my old set. Both our adult children have all-clad pots and pans and I have several all-clad pieces as well. I would say my Cusinart pots and pans are comparable to all-clad in quality. It was hard for me to see this on the online photos, but the exterior of the pans is a brushed stainless steel. Personally, I would have preferred polished stainless steel, but it would not stop me from recommending or purchasing them. Overall, a great set and for far less than all-clad.

Love These Pans!

I chose these pans as my employee 15 year anniversary gift and I am so glad that I did. My husband and I have been talking about getting new pans for a while as our old pans have gotten bad. These pans conduct heat well and we get a more even cook on things. I would recommend these to anyone.

Love these pans!!

Love the look!!. Heavier than I use too, but loving the full clad also! Haven't had any issues with clean up.. If something sticks, I soak the pot or pan for 5-10 minutes and it cleans right off. Got this set on sale, and have not regretted the purchase.

Love the Pots, not so much for the skillets

My first set of stainless steel cookware. I love all of the pots, lids and saute pan and the way they shine when clean. I have not mastered skills of frying meat in the skillets. ;-( After a few tries I find it quicker and easier to use nonstick for frying anything. Otherwise, I am definitely pleased.

I wouldn't buy them again...but they'll do for now

I wanted stainless steel & knew it would be an adjustment. It hasn't been much different cooking with them but caring for them has. There are many things not to do or do with the cookware and it takes a little more time cleaning. A lot won't come clean with a normal dish cloth, I have to use barkeepers friend & a bobie sponge. Additionally, they are heavy and makes a chore for someone like me that store them in a cabinet (and I am an active fairly fit person). I am going to use them for many years to come if they last which I don't see why they wouldn't but will definitely buy another set when I am older...like in my 60's.

Looks great, but!!

Always wanted this cookware. Not what I expected. I find it hard to cook with. Have to watch heat very carefully, when frying food sticks and starts to burn if your not very watchful. Must dry off as soon as you wash or spotting occurs. Only positive is it looks good.

Nice high quality cookware at a fair price

This set replaced some tired old cookware and we couldn’t be happier. The set easily cleans up with a litlle bar keepers friend and looks shiny and new regardless of use. Nice even cooking and a high quality feel make this set a feat choice. Less expensive than competitive products and just as good if not better.

Excellent cookware

Purchased this 12- piece multi-clad Cuisinart cookware to use on a new induction stove. The cookware replaces the non-induction cookware that I owned. I have now used every piece and can report that they all worked well with the induction burners and cleaned up easily. Since the set does not have all the pieces I need, I will be buying more cookware to replace other pieces. I am buying Cuisinart because they do honor their lifetime guarantee. They replaced a damaged sauté pan with no hassles. All they required was a description of the damage, the serial number on the bottom of the pan, and a photo of the damage.
