Horrible tread wear! Only got 38,000 miles

I am extremely disappointed in the tread life of these tires. 38,000 miles out of 60,000 is not acceptable. Tires were balanced and rotated regularly and wore evenly. The only good news is that I felt very safe with these tires in both wet and dry conditions.

Glad to have Michelin Tires!

I was FINALLY able to get a new set of Michelin Premier A/S 205/50R17 93V on my Chevy Sonic LTZ Hatchback and boy do they feel fantastic! Living in the Pacific northwest, these tire do as advertised by griping the wet roads especially when taking winding turns through the hills and valleys. They are also much quieter than my last set of tires and I've noticed that on my front-wheel drive, they don't slip when accelerating from a stop on wet highways like my last tires. I've only had these new tires for a few weeks so I can't give my assessment on their wear-life. The ONLY downside was that there isn't a local Michelin dealer where I live and I had to drive about 15 extra miles to the next town. But it was well worth it! I'll definitely look into purchasing Michelins when I get ready to buy a new set of snow tires!

Never used anything other than Michelin

i have only used michelin tires on all my cars. They have always lasted longer than they are rated to perform. I have been in both heavy rain, snow, and sleek roads and have not once lost control or skid. On my last two "new" cars, after owning them for 10 years each, i have had to replace the tires once each in those 10 years. Meaning, that i have only bought new tires twice in 20 years ! I would highly recommend these tires if you plan on driving with someone you love or care about in the car.

Worn very quick even with rotations every 5000 miles.

We bought a new bronco sport in Nov.4th which came with the 225/60/r18 Primacy A/S that are rated for 60000 miles. As of today they are at 4/32 left an only at 21273.9 miles of use which is half the claim in their statement. Very unsatisfied in quality.

2002 Camry

So far so good. 6 weeks and about 1400 miles. I have a 2002 Camry that has never been quieter. Nice handling & very comfortable ride so far. I did have previous balance issues with a set of MXV4s. Those had to be road force balanced a few times which was a surprise considering the cost. So far the Premiers have been great ! Even in torrential Florida rain this Camry is rock solid and feels very secure. A bit expensive. However, if the quality holds up they are worth the money.

Smooth, quiet, comfortable ride

I put these on my 2001 Honda Accord EX V6 Sedan because the Primacy MXV tires in my tire size have been discontinued. I am so happy with these tires. Immediately I noticed the comfortable, quiet ride. I have 3,000 miles on them so far and no complaints. I prefer comfort and a quiet ride over handling but I must say that these tires also handle well. I will only by these tires for my car again in the future.

Two sets wore out quickly

We went through two sets of Michelin Premier A/S tires on our 2014 Honda Pilot EX-L. Both sets rode very well with very little noise. Handling and breaking were excellent. The only downside with the Premier A/S tires (at least on our Pilot EX-L) is that we were not able to get close to the warranted 60,000 mile tread life on either set of Premier A/S tires. We got just below 30,000 miles on both sets of tires. This time around we gave up on the Premier A/S tires and switched to Defender LTX M/S tires which I have used for years with success on my truck. The dealer (and presumably Michelin) were good to deal with - they credited 45% of the original purchase price for the Premier A/S tires towards a new set of Defender LTX M/S tires.

not a happy driver

Driven 30,000 miles and I am miserable. At first, not so bad. But after a few thousand miles I started to get frustrated. I have felt every bump and expansion joint for the last 30,000 miles. Wear is OK, but what difference does that make when you are jolted at every road imperfection. may be able to squeeze another 10k, but these tires are making me hate my car. The Primacy mxv4 that were replaced were a better tire/smoother ride. The wet traction is still fairly good for running 30,000 miles. At least they got that right. Have a set of Michelins on our Explorer and they are great. Just feel these are a poor design.

Aweful treadlife!

My Honda Odyssey has all new OEM suspension and I keep them rotated and I'm not even going to make it to 15,000 miles. This is absolutely insane. I was expecting at least half because I live in Arizona and it's very hot and I understand these are a soft compound tire which is why they ride so amazing. Problem is I have to wait until they gets to 2/32 and then replace the two that are really bad and wait for the other two and have them staggered. Which doesn't help if I need to take a trip with my family. I have been a long-term Michelin customer but I'm just sick and tired of dealing with ridiculous treadwear. if you've got money to burn, these are great tires because they do ride amazing. But the mileage I'm getting is going to be very similar to what I got out of the last Pilot Super Sports I had on my Acura. Heck, even the AS3+s that I have on my all-wheel drive Acura are wearing better then the tires on my Honda Odyssey

Excellent wear and traction through life of tire just as advertised. Bring back all sizes

80,000 + miles on the premiers, have had the defenders on 3 yrs now as the replacement for the premiers, not crazy with the defenders over the premiers, handing, comfort and traction was A+++, disappointed michelin is dropping sizes. Was using 215/55 r17
