Love the quality!

We were looking to replace our old cookware with shredding non-stick surfaces and banged up bottoms--we were ready to upgrade (but not with our life savings!). We looked at several items and ended up choosing Cuisinart's 12-piece set. It is perfect! Lower cooking temperatures mean less energy use and the pans are just the right thickness to cook without burning. I love the heft and substantial manufacturing. I've had no issues with food sticking (something I was worried about)--but it comes down to trusting that you can cook with a lower temp. I love cooking with this set!

Disappointed

I am disappointed in the pots and pans. Difficult to clean even with following the specific instructions. Talked with Cuisinart rep and he gave me instructions which involved buying special cleaning products. I asked about returning the pots and pans and was told to return them where I purchased them. Unfortunately, I missed the short deadline however I thought there was a warranty? Spent a lot of money to be unhappy with purchase therefore I cannot give a gold recommendation.

Quality Construction

We have been using our new pots and pans everyday for over a month now. I am so pleased with these. I had my eyes on Calphalon, it is what my mom has. But I am glad I did a little more looking. This Cuisinart set is every bit as well constructed. But I like the handles better on these. They are more comfortable to carry. I also like having all stainless lids more so than glass. Makes for easier clean up and safer when my younger children help put dishes away. I feel these are the best bang for your buck. Great quality, great features without gouging your wallet.

Awesome stainless steel cookware!

I love cooking with these pans. They retain heat well and you don’t need high heat for normal cooking. Food does not stick to the pans and they always clean up easy. The handles proved to not be a problem at all. I never had a problem of the handles getting hot. I love my Cuisinart set and will be happily cooking with it for many more years.

Quality and Craftsmanship

I've used plenty of other cooking sets in the past and I grew accustomed their gradual failure over a short period of time. Cuisinart and it's stainless steel doesn't do that. It's very clean, feels the heft of quality and craftsmanship. Cleanup is simple and food tastes much better.

Great product.

This set works as advertised. Heat retention has been great, even with foods not near room temperature, and normal cleaning keeps them looking wonderful. I am skeptical of the blender and handheld mixer I own but this cookware is performing admirably.

Excellent Cookware at a great price

This stainless Steel cook ware is much better than I even expected for the price. Now I understand the value of having good quality pots and pans. I fried five lamb chops in the same pan and they actually all cooked at the exact same rate. That was a real improvement from my old set. Moreover, you have to use less heat. Cleaning takes a little bit more work but really very simple if you read the manual. After using the cookware for two weeks every day, I can tell you that they look as good today as they did when they came out of the box. These pans and pots are heavy good quality professional grade cookware that will last for years. The handle does not get hot when using them on the stove top. They make my kitchen look like a million bucks! Frankly, I love this set.

Prepare to have Discoloration

I am a first time user of stainless steele. I read all of the dos and donts. I was afraid of ruining the pans. After the 3rd use of one of my pans it started to turn color or look as if food was still stuck on the pan. It looked like it was not coming clean. I did everything right I cooked on low heat and used olive oil. Nothing stuck to the pan. I used a mild soap and hot water to clean. Even tried boiling water in it. Nothing worked. I’ll just have to live with the discoloration as the pan still works well. I’m just sad that only after 3 uses it doesn’t look nice.

Really nice set of pans

After using my odds and ends pieces for 43 years, and wearing them out, I decided to ask for a nice set of pans for Christmas. Since my husband and sons never know what to get me because I tell them I never need anything, they were thrilled to me give them an idea. I compared all the different types, and decided to take the plunge and get stainless steel, although I was a bit nervous about cooking with it. I watched videos and read hints, tips and reviews. (I had been using non-stick fry pans and enamel sauce pans for years.) I chose the Cuisinart because they were so recommended, so well made, and just beautiful to look at. I have a brushed stainless, with a mirror-finish around the top, just under the rim. They're wonderful to cook with. (I did season the fry and sauce pans before using.) They clean up very easily - I let them cool then soak if necessary, but otherwise, just use Bartender's Helper and they look like new. The handle on the fry and sauce pans don't get hot, which is a plus. The sauté' pan has the long handle, plus a helper handle which is great. I love that the fry and sauté' pans can go from the stove top to the oven. Just a word - the pans have some weight to them. I've found that the the stock pot and large sauce pan can be a bit heavy for me when I'm pouring the contents out. Part of me would have liked to have the smaller handles on either side of the sauce pans, rather than one long handle (my old enamel pans were like that). But I've gotten used to the weight, and make sure I'm careful when pouring out the contents. I love my Cuisinart pans. I use them every day, and they look like I just took them out of the box. I'm so glad I got them.

High quality set, especially for the price point.

I've only cooked with these a few times but so far I'm very pleased with the set as a whole. I have a gas cooktop and they retain heat extremely well. I suspect the multiclad construction is to thank for that. The handles have a nice ergonomic shape, and I love that the lids are all-metal. Glass lids are so hard to store and I'm constantly worried someone (probably me) will drop one—I don't have to worry with these. I'm also very excited about the steamer. I haven't used it yet, but we love to make broccoli pasta over here and I suspect it will be perfect for that. My only caveat is that they are *heavy*, so if you're someone with mobility or wrist issues, they may not be the best option for you.
