Terrible, going to return it, it is not sharp it doesn't cut like it should. Had same brand same style for 10 years. Decided to get a new one and this one's terrible

For Norelco a very poor razor never buy a 5000 series Norelco razor they have a weak battry, so razor slow and blades don't last. Have a Norelco sensor touch and has lasted 5 years and battery is much stronger and only replaced the blades twice so far they still cut better then the blades for this razor even when new. I believe it is because weak battery too slow.

I bought this several weeks ago to replace a Norelco Aquatech shaver that I bought several years ago at Sam's. The old shaver is getting weaker and is due for replacement. The shave quality of this 5200 model is dismal. The shaver is way underpowered, even in Turbo mode, and within a few hours of shaving it feels like I never shaved at all. Not a good item. The real difference may be the style of cutting blades being different on both shavers, but I would not suggest this model to anyone based on the low quality of the shave it provides.

I purchased this as my old Norelco died. The Good: Sleek design, recharges pretty fast and a decent shave. The weird: On/Off switch is placed high up on the unit and a complete departure from generations past, as in like 30 years. I must admit my muscle memory continually makes me push the wrong area. Not a deal breaker, just a scratch your head ask "Why"? The not so good: Maybe it is me, but it seams like I really have to work an area over multiple times before I get the close, smooth shave. That in itself isn't so bad, just the irritated skin that follows. One last item, more an inconvenience, changing the blades is an exercise in frustration, be prepared to align itty bitty pieces just perfect, stand on your head and rub your belly just right.

I have been using this razor for about a month, and it does a good job. Over the past 7 years of using electric razors, I have only used Phillips and remained brand loyal because they make a quality product. This is my third razor. The performance remains the same with each new razor, which is a quality shave. The design and ease of use continues to improve with each model I purchase. This design specifically has improved with the razor set-up, creating an easier way to clean the razor, which will lead to longer life.

I upgraded to this shaver a couple weeks ago and am totally satisfied with this shaver, super close shave, it comes with extra blades which is like 30 bucks. My old Norelco shaver needed a new head and blades got this one for not much more than that would have cost and I like it a lot.

Like every single philips shaver I've tried, it struggles to cut my facial hair (I do have thick hair.) It also leaves random hairs all over my face. I end up having to go back over my face with a razor. Honestly, with the shaver, it is faster to just use a razor blade.
