I've only used generation one/two AirPods for years, so this is a big upgrade for me. While these AirPods are a lot smaller than the first and second generation AirPods (see photos below for reference), I like them a lot more. If you're used to using other AirPods, it'll take some time to get used to the small size of these AirPods in your ears. The noise cancellation on these are great, and I love how you're able to adjust how the noise cancellation works; you can also control whether or not the audio in your AirPods lowers when someone is talking to you, which is really convenient. You can also make the case make noise if you are unable to find them, and they're automatically updated in your Find My, which I don't think the original AirPods did that. Also, when you charge your AirPods, at least, with a Magsafe charger, the case lights up and it makes a little 'ding' sound so you know that they're actually charging. Once they're fully charged, your phone will send you a notification, which is nice. The only thing I don't like about the AirPods 4 w/ ANC is that you aren't able to skip back and forth between songs by tapping the left or right AirPods. Besides that, I love all of the features that come with the ANC version of the AirPods four. I do think it's a better investment than the regular version of the AirPods 4, especially if you don't like to hear anything besides your music.

Using apple headphones with an iphone made me realize Apple made it more than clear that it wants to stay within its own ecosystem. No syncing issues whatsoever. I can finally place phone calls with headphones, as well. The sound is decent, too. A star removed for how uncomfortable these are, essentially after half an hour, one has to remove to stop the pressure on the ear. Apple also makes headphones with a silicone attachment that are in a much higher comfort category. I can't explain it other than Apple asking you to pay extra money for comfort. Plus, based on the construction, Apple made these non-repairable and so once the battery life decreases below reasonable use, they will have to be added to the pile of electronic waste.

Unless you hate silicon tips and need ear hole freedom, 3 Pro is way to go. These feel like they will fall out, are uncomfortable after an hour and there are not even tips you can buy because they all have to be removed before you can put them in their case to charge. Literally only reason to get these is if you hate silicon tips and need ear hole freedom! If so, these are for you

Two areas of disappointment: 1) I’m disappointed with how easily they dislodge from my ear canals. Normal walking steps have jarred loose…falling without any prior indication. 2) I’m also disappointed with the short \- 2 hours of operation time before they require recharging.

The airpods work well in the sound department. However, the ear piece is large for my ears, as I have to be careful they don't fall out. I can't use them for workout music.

I love the AirPods 4 because of the noise cancellation feature cancels most of all external noise and the fact that they don't have the bud covers on them at all. The frequency range on them is superior . I highly recommend them they are 10/10

Idk I thought I was going to like them but the sound is too low compared to other AirPods I could hardly hear the person I talked to idk if they were just defective or idk

Really like these AirPods. Sound is clear, noise cancellation works well, and they're comfortable to wear. Easy to connect and battery is solid. No complaints.

the noise cancellation is awesome on this one! My old one broke so I figure I would just stick with this brand and the noise cancellation itself is on point!

My wife had the first-generation EarPods and liked them okay. She is what I call an “anti-techie”, but she was shocked at how good these sounded and felt. Now she couldn't live without them!
