The item is exactly as I expected it to be. I used to have AirPods Pro but lost them and didn't feel like spending the money to purchase them again. So, I decided instead to go with the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation because they are significantly less expensive and fit in my ears just as well as the AirPods Pro. The price was so great with the sale Walmart had going on as well, I couldn't pass on the deal.

Wow. Just wow. I had my AirPods for a few days and now the ANC feature on my left AirPod won’t work anymore. Instead it makes some white noise/static. Before I explain more, I want to get to the positive stuff first. The ANC, when it did work, was beautiful. Not pro level, but decent for an open-ear design earbud product like this. Spatial audio was fine, and the quality was decent. Now back to the bad part: While I was listening to music, the left AirPod in ANC mode popped and now it won’t do ANC anymore. The right AirPod, as previously mentioned, still works. I’m going to get this thing returned and possibly get a refund. Never doing this again.

I was not sure how the ANC on the 4th gen AirPods would work. I wanted something that would block the music at the gym. I am pleased with the results. I have been using this at the gym many days of the week and must say that it is very effective to block most external sounds except the very loud sounds, which it does help reduce. Once you have music playing through the AirPods, you won't even notice much of the loud external sounds. So overall, I give it an 8/10 for ANC. It is not a true noise cancelling AirPods but it gets the job done. I like that it has no rubber tip and easy to slide in and out of the ear. Amazing sound as always.
