Two areas of disappointment: 1) I’m disappointed with how easily they dislodge from my ear canals. Normal walking steps have jarred loose…falling without any prior indication. 2) I’m also disappointed with the short \- 2 hours of operation time before they require recharging.

It don’t come with a charger for the case and doesn’t charge from a normal iPhone charger but the noice cancellation is awesome I think the live translation only works on call and you gotta press the three dots or something but I really like these headphones

These ear buds REALLY cancel out sound. You can’t hear nothing . I love that. My only teenie extremely small complaint is the fit. Gotta be careful not to lose them. Not really a snug fit in my ears. I purchased an attachment on Amazon to attach them better to my ears.

Positive: sound quality is good Negatives: the fit is horrible, due to the lack of suction the “noise cancellation” is more like a “muffling” of outside noise. I knew these didn’t have the ear bud covers, wanted to give a try for the price; but I regret it. The AirPods constantly fall out of my ear which makes for uncomfortable listening. All in all I would not recommend these headphones and I’m contemplating making a return. I’ve had them for 3 days!

We’ve had three different models of AirPods, and I would say these are the best so far if you haven’t tried the 2nd gen Pros. They would easily be grand champion in the lineup if it weren’t for the fact that they don’t have the “amplication” option and they have one hour less of usable running time. Otherwise, if those two details aren’t deal breakers then these are definitely great quality vs. value and would absolutely recommend. Additional note: while I don’t have much of an issue because of my thumbnails and slender hands—my husband has large fingers and says they can be a bit difficult to pull out due to their magnetism being significantly upgraded from older models. They also sit lower in their molded position in the case and very close together compared to the rest.

my daughter loves them she was worried they might not fit good but they do and i tried them on as well so i will get me a pair when needed. sound was great better than my gen2s that i love. but we just got them 12/25/2015 so let's see how they do. but i expect they will be good.

The lack of ear tips is a dealbreaker. Most earbuds fit me, these fit decently but will fall out no matter what you do. The sound is horrible compared to the AirPods 2, probably because you can’t get a great seal. The ANC kind of works, but again not really well because of the lack of ear tips keeping sound out. The functions are nice, like when it turns ANC off when you talk… that’s about it. The ANC feature made me literally sick from turning off and on all the time. Inner ear issue. Returned.

The race is on. Beats have been my choice for years. They are also an Apple product and I simply thought it was the same product in a different configuration and named differently. I loved my Beats. They were the best. People just buy Apple headphones because they are a statement. I was sure mine were just as good. Then I entered a research program for which I had to have AirPods. I bowed myself at the almighty Airpods and bought them. They are infinitely better at delivering sound than any other buds that ever found my ears.

I've only used generation one/two AirPods for years, so this is a big upgrade for me. While these AirPods are a lot smaller than the first and second generation AirPods (see photos below for reference), I like them a lot more. If you're used to using other AirPods, it'll take some time to get used to the small size of these AirPods in your ears. The noise cancellation on these are great, and I love how you're able to adjust how the noise cancellation works; you can also control whether or not the audio in your AirPods lowers when someone is talking to you, which is really convenient. You can also make the case make noise if you are unable to find them, and they're automatically updated in your Find My, which I don't think the original AirPods did that. Also, when you charge your AirPods, at least, with a Magsafe charger, the case lights up and it makes a little 'ding' sound so you know that they're actually charging. Once they're fully charged, your phone will send you a notification, which is nice. The only thing I don't like about the AirPods 4 w/ ANC is that you aren't able to skip back and forth between songs by tapping the left or right AirPods. Besides that, I love all of the features that come with the ANC version of the AirPods four. I do think it's a better investment than the regular version of the AirPods 4, especially if you don't like to hear anything besides your music.

I lost my original 2nd generation airpods I had for years and debated to purchase new ones due to price. I purchased these during black friday sale and I'm glad I did. I had some cheap airpod looking ones just to listen to music while at work but when I put these new ones on, I totally missed the clear crisp quality of the sound and how it minimizes background noise during calls. Glad I purchased new and improved airpods.
