I recently bought 4 of these due to AC failure. They've been a saving grace. They are priced cheapest at Sam's. One must of been a return however. I knew right away because it was packed differently. I heard a tiny piece clanking around inside. It fell out but I never found it. Needless to say, that fan does not spin. I had mutilated the boxes when opening and hate the hassle of returning things, or would of taken it back. Otherwise, this item is an A+. I hope they continue to work this well because I've never seen my pups so relaxed as they are laying in front of this fan.

I purchased a Lasko Xtra Air Tower fan and was quite happy with the performance. Couple of my family members loved the fan, and I decided to get similar fans for them as gift. The Lasko Ultra Air fan was on close-out prices and I got three of them. I am glad to say that those who received these fans are all happy with the Lasko Ultra Air. One had the fan run with the ionizer on in one of his children's stinky bedroom :), and was happy to let me know that the smell was gone after couple hours. Did not know that the ionizer was that effective. Overall I have to say it is a good fan, looks decent, and is not that noisy in the lower speeds, which in my mind is all you need to circulate the air. I am glad Sam's Club had these fans and I am glad I purchased them. And the price was right too!

My girlfriend saw this in-store and briefly read reviews before purchasing. We have been trying to find a tower fan for months. This one fit the bill for the price, functions, and height. We do not find the fan loud even on the highest setting. The fan blows cool air. We do not utilize the remote so not sure how great it is. I just hope that the rotating function doesn't go out within a month or so as Lasko fans are known for that. I was lucky to catch when these came back in stock for shipping and ordered 2 more because we like the fan that much.

When Sam's runs a sale on these for the price I gave for mine $39 range, this is a perfect steal and a bang for your buck, it doesn't blow a great amount of air, but it's great to have like I do in my livingroom as a air circulator. The $70 price I do not recommend anyone paying that price for this fan.

Air flow so disappointing; Lasko pedestal fan much better on # 1 compared to this Performance one on # 3. Oscillation on this Tower doesn’t even go half circle. I wanted a bit quieter fan than the Pedestal, which Tower definitely is Because it’s lame in power It’s being returned.

Good air movement, quiet, nice control. If you intend to use this in a bedroom, get a roll of 2" painters tape to cover the display (with several layers) because the LEDs are BRIGHT. Way too bright for bedroom night use. And no way to turn them off - hence the 4 stars. Come on Lasko, you can do better. Consider all potential uses.

Purchased this fan a little over one month ago. Excited for it because it was a good size and worked well! The number light flickers now, which is especially obnoxious at night in the dark room, and the remote doesn’t work anymore. Tried changing the batteries and that didn’t seem to be the issue for the remote. Disappointed, and will try to return it!

Bought this about 3 weeks ago and ir is amazing!! The height makes it so the air reaches a vast space and the wind blowing is strong. It has kept us cool these last few days up upper 90s when the ac went out. Only complaint is the bright speed number. It is too bright even when it is on the low light setting. You should be able to turn off the light.

Lasko is a brand that last for long time so we always buy this brand. Yes the fan has a overpowering odor but it’s the same odor that has Sam’s Clubs pillows (not sure why). We eliminate the odor with a Febreze plug. My husband always plug a febreze in A/C vent and fan which works fine. The odor has nothing to do with the functionality of the fan and about the ION mode works like Echo save mode and when is on ION it tends to turned off and turned back on itself for safe energy. We haven’t had any issue with unit but is not a strong fan. This is more for use with a A/C to spread the air evenly to warm spots.

I purchased this fan for the ion feature and the price was right, but the noise on med is quite higher than I expected from A Lasko fan, runs well on low, and the ion feature works great that's why I gave it only four stars. I'm thinking about buying another.
