We already had one of the. Purchased it last year from Sams Club and it has worked like a charm. It is on my wife's side of the bed, where she frankly "hogged" it. So I bought one for me. It's on my side of the bed. I would prefer to be able to cut dim the "llght" that gives you the fan speed, to where you cannot see it at all, but that is the only negative and now worth lowering the rating. All yo do is pop the base in and plug it up. You'll spend more time getting it out of the box verses assembling. Remote is simple and straight forward. Good Price when compared to discounters that also carry Lasko product, including the parent company of Sams Club. Highly recommend it.

It's okay. The green light displaying the speed is extremely bright it lights up the entire room, prepare to put tape over it or cover it some kind of way it's literally a night light for your room. The fan quality other than that is okay but the design is not good with the display, there's no night mode it stays on full-time all night, had to put it in a different room and buy a pelonis for the bedroom which display goes off after a minute

It is hard to find a tower fan this tall. I bought it for our lake place but when I got it home and tried it out I was so pleased with it that I immediately bought another one to use at home. It is very quiet and does a nice job and what a great price!

It does its job by keeping me cool. I just wish it got my room cold. The people I live with keep the house at 79 degrees meanwhile it’s a 100 degrees outside. I am able to fall asleep and stay asleep because of this fan. Also, in the middle of the night someone likes to cook nooo burn food in the oven. It’s a horrible smell but when I turn on the ionizer (an option on the fan) the smell goes away in my room.

Every time you turn this fan on it gives off an odor in a closed room the smells like it's melting plastic on inspection of the fan there's no place to the gets hot and there's no reason for this odor but it still stinks I can't even use this fan I bought a Lasko fan before but this units really disappointing

I purchased this brand based on price and reviews—instead of another higher priced brand that I have at work. This fan is inferior in that it is quite loud and it does not have much range in its oscillation. On a positive note, I like that it has a Sleep setting that decreases the fan speed hourly.

I have other lasko products I speak highly of. This tower unit not lasko quality imo. Only rotates really for 1 person in a room has no air power in 3rd setting. 1 and 2 settings are useless. My drummer uses it just for him. I use the floor blower style lasko those are the real deal.

I received my fan the last of May. I am in no way a DIY’r, but I set it up by myself. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that everybody has at least 1, 2, or 3. I love it and it makes no noise whatsoever and cools my den wonderfully. I am even considering getting another for my bedroom.

Previously purchased this item. After a few months it began to exude a noxious order. After two calls to the company,m took it back to Sam's. The replacement fan is not a powerful as the previous. A "2" on this fan speed is equal to a "1" on the first one.

The Lasko Ultra Air Performance fan with the Ionizer didn't cool the room at all. The force of the air was very weak. It's nice, sleek, and quiet but just didn't do the job of cooling the room. I returned it for it's other family member - the Lasko High Velocity fan which blows a lot of air cooling down my family room! Not as quiet as the Ultra Air Performance fan. If you are looking for a fan that's nice, sleek and quiet then the Lasko Ultra Air Performance with Ionizer is for you.
