[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm comparing this to my Roomba. First, I haven't been able to pair the Ion with my phone (ugh). I've tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions to no avail. I run the ION on Max, because my house has 3 dogs and hair gets everywhere. This is a good feature. The ION is speedier and quieter than my Roomba i3+ when running around on carpet, tile, and wood floors. The Ion doesn't slow down before bumping into something like my Roomba does. The Ion hits things at full speed. The Roomba slows down before gently bumping into something. Maybe the ION does it because I haven't been able to map any rooms with the app? The sweepers that you pop on each side of the ION are entirely different than the sweepers on the Roomba or any robot sweepers that I've seen. It might be a part that will only be found through Shark. It's nice that they can be popped on and off without having to get out a screwdriver. I thought it strange how the ION sits backwards when it's docked on its charger. This Shark ION doesn't self-empty, which is a really nice feature of the Roomba i3+ and later models. I'm sure Shark has a version that self-empties by now. I would recommend getting the self-emptying feature if it is ever offered as an add-on to this ION version or purchasing a version that has self-emptying.

They give you the flexibility to manage your cleaning without having to touch it only with Alexa’s help, I have it scheduled two days a week and it does a wonderful job. Hook up was really easy I was able to hook it up to my internet pretty fast. It does need to be connected to the internet to work though. I really like that the trash compartment has a pretty good size for a robot vacuum and it’s not very loud. I’m very pleased with it so far. I would totally recommend it!

Upside, hands of ease while i get other things done. Downside.. it has a hard time in my opinion getting.one area.done. It goes everywhere and doesnt focus on one area at a time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Ion Robot is such a great vacuum for such an affordable price point. The suction is amazing. I love setting it to run certain times of the day only to come home and see my floors look so good!!! It is easy to set up and operate. I have had issues with it getting stuck here and there, which can be a pain. Overall, it does a great job helping me maintain my home. With a husband, 2 sons and a cat, that says a lot!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm kind of amaze with this robot: cleans good, it's fairly quiet, has a long battery life and manouvers amazing up and down rugs. The only downside for me is the connection with the app, it's been impossible to connect it and manage it from the phone! Let me tell you that I'm good with technology and never have a problem installing or updating apps, programs and so on. Well, after installing the Shark app, trying a few times a day during 3 weeks, troubleshooting, restarting the router, the phone, the app, trying in Android and Apple devices, I gave up. So I turn it on manually (not a big deal) but of course I'm missing half of the good perks of the robot: being able to activate the cleaning from the phone and I think even program it. So please Shark, get your connection robot/devices together!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely excited to use this product. I live in an apartment and was happy to have this. I like the sleek look of the product but I am very disappointed. The vacuum does not really clean in any sort of pattern. It's just random and when it hits furniture it does redirect itself but doesn't really come back to the area. It does run for about 45 minutes but it is loud so I can't really run it while doing work. I like to use it in open spaces because it bumps into the furniture and just seems to repeat where it has already cleaned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little robot vacuum! We named ours Link. You can operate it through an app or on the device. For example, when we have it in cleaning mode and if it gets stuck or has a problem I get a notification on my phone that “Link has a problem” and I go rescue him. I have a dog that sheds like crazy and this is a lifesaver for our hard floors. I run it at least once a week to keep up with the shedding. I do go through and sweep things away from the walls before I run it. I’m not sure this is necessary but it’s my preference. After about an hour the floors are cleaner than if I used a broom. If you have pets and hard floors I would definitely recommend. I haven’t had any issues and it’s easy to clean out the collection bin. I love my little “Link”!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off it came very well packaged. This is a really awesome shark sweeper robotic it automatically stocks itself. It cleans very well. You even are able to set when you need to clean it and times that you want to clean it. It has a clean the dock and the max. The cleanest just a regular thing. The max is very deep clean. It's very well put together is really awesome. It's got a great value as well as quality and it's really awesome. Wherever you need it to clean it goes and cleans it. And every docks itself as well as cleaning is really awesome and it does do a really good job. This makes very good gifts for a birthday's holidays and Christmases. It also reaches the hard places where you cannot get to like a sofas or desk or whatever the case may be. I recommend this to all family and friends and like I said it's a very good quality it has a trial brush system. It also has a part like a dustpan that you can take out and you can empty. It also has a removable filter that you can take out and clean and put it back and replace the filter which is really great it even has a powerful suction. It gets all of the trash out of the little nooks and crannies and corners and it even picks up big trash as well as small trash which is really awesome. This is a very great vacuum. Like I said you can set it the way you want it and the times of the day that you want your shark to clean up your house it does want to run off of Wi-Fi which is really great. It's really awesome to have. Also it redox itself. If it gets lost you can pick it up and also put it on the docking station yourself and it doesn't take long to charge it. It comes with everything you need is very easy to clean and it gets into the hard crevices that you cannot get into which is really great. It also helps you be able to do other things why the shark cleans the house and you do other things like washing the dishes or washing clothes? So it's really awesome and it's really great to have it has a couple functions on it that's very easy to use. It's not hard to put together. It's already put together. All you have to do is put the two front side brushes on and docket on the docking station and you download the app to your phone and you set it up to when you want it to clean and do whatever you need it to do which is really great. Like I said, it's a very good quality. It's very it's not too heavy. It don't take up a lot of space and it's really awesome it has wonderful performance as well as a really unique design. So if it bumps into things it's got something on the front that it kind of bumps but it don't bump too hard and it's able to turn itself around and go where it needs to go which is really great and it don't scrape up the walls or your furniture

I also own a Roomba, there is NO comparison the Roomba NEVER docks when it finishes and this Shark does. It does a fabulous job cleaning my hardwood and ceramic it also goes over my throw rugs, rather than dragging them. I love the dust cup, easy to use. Wish it had a carrying handle but that’s minor!
