[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Steve McClean really sucks! Literally, it's a vacuum. And it's great! The app is helpful to know how much battery Steve has and you can tell him to clean or dock with the app. We have 2 Huskies - so TONS of hair everywhere. The receptacle for the hair and debris isn't huge so we empty him frequently but I can definitely tell a difference with how much I need to manually vacuum now. He also detects when he is near the stairs (he calls it a cliff - see screenshot).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm kind of amaze with this robot: cleans good, it's fairly quiet, has a long battery life and manouvers amazing up and down rugs. The only downside for me is the connection with the app, it's been impossible to connect it and manage it from the phone! Let me tell you that I'm good with technology and never have a problem installing or updating apps, programs and so on. Well, after installing the Shark app, trying a few times a day during 3 weeks, troubleshooting, restarting the router, the phone, the app, trying in Android and Apple devices, I gave up. So I turn it on manually (not a big deal) but of course I'm missing half of the good perks of the robot: being able to activate the cleaning from the phone and I think even program it. So please Shark, get your connection robot/devices together!

It's a way better design that others because the brushes and parts that will eventually wear out are so easy to remove and clean that it's going to make those replaceable parts last longer. And it picks up just great. And it's quieter than the others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house doesn’t get dirty much since we don’t have pets or kids so this was great for the quick clean ups without us having to dedicate time to doing it! It’s definitely been a time saver that does a great job of picking up dirt and dust. Even with the app, it helps to map about the area to clean and looks like it gets every spot. Of course, the corners are the only touch up spots but other than that, great product and the canister is easy to empty and clean!

I love the convenience of not having to push a vacuum. It is so easy to use. I have never owned a robot vacuum before and now I can't live without it. Love the design and the performance of it. Love it!

I purchased this Shark ION Robot Vacuum because it was a Doorbuster Deal. This is a basic Robot Vacuum. It cleans well. My only complaint is that it does not map out your house. It really just bounces around the room from wall to wall. It will go in a straight line and then just turn in a different direction for no reason. It gets the job done but don't have high expectations that you are getting a top-of-the line product.

I enjoy how I can program it (and pre-program it) through my phone. Cleaning the device is very easy. It has two modes: “clean” and “max”. I mostly use the “clean” mode and -for reference- I have carpets and rugs.
