[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner works really well and I love how there’s an app for it so I can control it while I’m not home, I like to turn it on before I get home so the room will be cooled down by the time I get there. I also like looking at the daily energy usage on the app, that’s pretty cool! Where I live has been unseasonably hot so we have been using this up until recently when we finally started getting some winter weather. It has been working perfectly and it’s a lot quieter than our old window unit so we don’t have to turn the volume up ridiculously loud anymore and that’s awesome! Overall this is a really good air conditioner and I definitely recommend it for anyone in the market!!

Installation was difficult. The window frame doesn’t allow the unit to sit flush on the sill so some brackets are left floating in air (See photo with red arrows). The side curtains didn’t fit well either and are bowed (see photo). The unit is pretty quiet, but not as quiet as Midea’s U-Shaped model. Cools well, but thermostat is a few degrees off from true indoor temperature. The app is not very good. Can’t see temps without turning the unit on and overall the app is not very good.

Love the versatility and ease of use and how it can connect to my smart devices for even easier access. It seriously made our life better. The accessibility and the perfect coverage it provides, everything about this smart inverter that mounts simply over my window is all we needed. Great quality from GE as always. I also must add, it's quiet.

This a pretty cool AC unit. The inverter makes it energy efficient but the temperature it reads is not necessarily the temperature of the room. Im using a 10k btu unit in a 140 sq ft room with decent insulation. When set to 64 degrees, it is really about 66 in the room at the coldest. Also, The app has a power draw feature so it tells you how much energy you are using per day and at that moment in time. The weird thing about this unit is it has a giant hole on the bottom which serves no obvious purpose. So I covered it with one of those fruit fly meshes and tape. Overall. I'd recommend the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here in South Louisiana it is still 80 degrees in December so we are still using the AC. We have a 600 Sq ft "hangout" building for our kids. This small AC kids the whole place cool! It was very easy ans quick to install. It was easy to set up with the app that I already use for my range. I love that we can use Alexa to control the AC as well. It's a great AC and works well.

After having it on for a couple hours, we opened the door and discovered that it will not only cool our master bedroom, master bath, but also cooled our kitchen into our living room. It is very quiet and easy to utilize.

This air conditioner is super amazing because it is quietest one that I have ever encountered. I work from home and have meetings all the times with the air conditioner on next to my desk but no one can hear anything. I can sleep with the air conditioner on because it is so quiet. It is super amazing. Thank you GE.

Cools like any other generic air conditioner. Costs more because it’s supposed to be able to use with an app. Well that doesn’t work at all. Doesn’t connect at all. Complete garbage if you want it for the smart features. Don’t waste money, buy something else fork another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE profile smart inverter window air conditioner is great for any home. The 10,000 BTU is big enough to cool two or three rooms in your home. We have a 800 ft cottage and it keeps most of it cool. It was very easy to install following the instructions that were given in the box. I would take everything out lay it out look at the steps and install according to the instructions you can get a seal from any hardware store to seal it if you want a better seal than what is already there. The remote control is great because you can use it to set your temperatures from wherever you are in the house. I like that it comes with an app and using the app you can set your temperatures while you're at home or while you're away. You can check the app and use it to monitor temperatures and all of that while you're away. I like that you can move the vents around and you can have it up down or side so that it will go in any direction you want it to go in.

Wow this appliance is so quiet and powerful. Installed it plugged in turn on voila. At first it was cooling and did not hear it could not believe just how quiet it as. With our old one it noisy, but it's so noise free hard to believe. It's well built and for its size not all that heavy fight right in window Highly recommend this air conditioner.
