Save yourself lots of aggravation and buy inner tubes for these particular tires. I bought 2 Greenball ribbed tread tires 480/400-8 for my lawn cart. They are good tires, but the bead edge of the tires refuses to seal airtight to the rims of the wheel barrow/lawn cart type rims. The rims were clean, straight, and in good condition. The reputable tire shop tried several times unsuccessfully to mount these as tubeless. They finally had to use inner tubes to get them to hold air. Apparently the shape of the molded bead is not exactly right for the intended wheel barrow/ lawn cart type rims. I've used Greenball tires of other sizes on several mowers and had no such problem. It seems to happen only with this particular tire size.

Bought 2. They come flattened out and shrink-wrapped. One resumed a tire shape and could be mounted/inflated onto rim. The other stayed so twisted that I had to go out and purchase a tube to install just to shape the tire to reach the rim in order to inflate. Had to leave the tube inside the tire.

It is a tire that you mount on a rim and then air it up IF you have a valve stem on your wheel! There is no tube in it. It will eventually go flat like any tire with a tube when you run over stickers. From the description I thought it was a solid rubber tire that you mount somehow on a rim. Returned it.

The tires arrived in a flattened condition and were difficult to install. I suggest they be allowed to expand a few days prior to installing them. Warming them in sun improves expansion.

Shipping was a bit problematic, but my order did arrive later than promised. Tire arrived flat as a pancake, probably for shipping purposes. This made it a little bit of a problem mounting around rim. Overall, the purchase was great.

It's legally sufficient that at the end of the description states "Tire Only". Would be nice if the picture reflected what you are actually buying. Otherwise is it is good quality.

Upon suggestions from other customers and at various forums inner tubes were used with these tires to ensure air holding capability. The tires look good for now. They are used for an old Sears garden cart.

As others have stated the tire is difficult to get the bead seated because it is shipped flat. I had to purchase a inner tube separately to get it to inflate

Great tire! Great price! W pu discount too! Altho it is tubeless I installed tire w a tube from Walmart just to be safe as wheel is probably 20 yrs old! Nice old wheelbarrow right? Working great!

I bought three of these tires. I had the guys in automotive mount them onto the rim and inflate them fro me and two out of the three had leaks in them.
