There is absolutely no bitterness. What a delight. I’m not sure what else to say, as a great cup of coffee is just that, great. If you are looking for a smooth cup of coffee with a beautiful, dense and thick crema, look no further.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to admit, I'm a bit of a coffee snob; which is why I purchased the Nespresso machine. It's nice to try pods that aren't made by Nespresso but can work on my machine. These were dark roast and had a little sweetness. This pod could be used for espresso and lungo. Overall, I did not love it. The pods freaked my machine out and it made a weird noise when I used the pods. The drip was also slower (took longer to finish). There was the foam cap that you get from a Nespresso espresso. Overall the flavor of the coffee fell flat for me. I didn't have a full body cup of coffee. I ended up adding a teaspoon of espresso concentrate because my coffee didn't taste right. I don't always use dark roast coffees which is why I'm convinced it's just that this brand doesn't make the best coffee. I wouldn't buy it. But I would recommend it if someone isn't a coffee snob and are looking for an affordable substitution for the Nespresso pods because they did at least work in the machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lavazza Super Crema espresso is familiar to me, so I was so excited to try the pod version in my Nespresso Pixie. Flavor wise, this is delicious. The creamy, medium bodied consistency is perfect for my lattes, and there was a hint of acidity from citrus notes. I think the pods hold true to the whole bean blends. My only caveat to this is that my Nespresso machine didn’t jive perfectly with the pods themselves. The coffee was good, but the machine crushed the pods pretty aggressively and it took me a few tries to pull a good shot. I am wondering if the material the pods are made of is different from the Nespresso brand pods.

The arome is rich and delicious from the moment it starts brewing, and de favor is smooth, balanced, and full of character.. It has distinctive bitterness that coffee lovers will appreciate without being too strong. The cream is creamy and velvety, making every cup feel like a café-quality experience at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso pod is so smooth with a great amount of crema and dare I say, it actually tastes barista quality? This is possibly the best espresso nespresso pod I’ve tried yet. All of the ones I have tried before are good but they don’t taste like the quality you get at a coffee shop. This is different, it is smooth but strong and has really good flavor. I have used it a few times to make an iced latte and it is even still great tasting when cooled. I love the convenience of the nespresso pods versus an espresso machine and this makes it taste like you actually spent the time with an expensive espresso machine. I will definitely look into more Lavazza brand pods in the future but the Supercrema is VERY good!
