Works very well and is QUIET.

Our power was out for four days and my generator failed. I purchased the GP2500i and filled it with oil and gas. It started on the first pull of the cord. I ran it for the next day and a half to power the refrigerator, TV and some lights. It ran for at least 8 hours on a fill up. I never let it run out of gas but I know it was more efficint than my previous generators.

Great Product GP2500i

I purchased back in February of 2021 after a few days of a hard freeze in Oregon. I added as a 2nd generator for all around use. Finally took out of box (11/2022) LOL! All prepped up. Not too bad! Generator is lightweight, started on third pull, quiet. So far so good. Future plans would be getting a 2nd one, with parallel kit. Generator will be great for home, outdoor activities. Ill test more and put a review back up.

Dual fuel awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Generac iQ3800 Dual Fuel Portable Generator for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how easy it is to operate. The push-button start works flawlessly, and the design makes it super portable with the built-in handle and wheels. It’s definitely built to last—feels very durable and reliable. I also appreciate the Economy Mode to help save fuel, and the LED display makes it simple to monitor everything. Great generator for both work and outdoor use!

Great for boat lift

Purchased this for a boat lift for a 23’ runabout and it works great. Impressed with how quiet it is and how easy it starts. I’ve only used it one boating season but just started today after it sat for almost four months to drain the gas. Took about 5 or 6 pills to get it started but once started worked like a charm. I’d definitely recommend.

IQ3500

I just purchased a IQ3500. The unit came with everything needed less the gasoline. I read the manual and filled the unit with the provided oil, added 100% gas and fired it up. It started immediately and ran great. Ultra quite and very smooth. I plugged in some lights for a lite load and ran it for 1.5 hours. I shut it down and checked the oil level. I am very happy with my purchase. This is my second Generac generator that I own. My older one is an 11 year old 7500 watt and still runs like new. Thanks for building reliable products!

Best overall but still lacks features

After extensive research I chose this for my RV as a dry camp accessory. It is the best value in inverter generators, but lacks one major feature. No wheels or handles, and there are none available as aftermarket add ons. Very cumbersome to manage without them, since it is quite heavy. Otherwise it has everything I wanted, and is reasonable quiet.

Off grid for 1 year

Due to Covid, I have been living off grid for about a year. I run my generator for 6 hours every 3 days in order to charge my lithium batteries, and it has met all of my expectations. The electric start is great, and I have only used the pull start twice, when it was well below zero. I would definitely buy again. My only concerns are for me, I find the fuel remaining display hard to understand and don't use it. My only other comment is that the spark arrester got supper dirty and clogged up to the point that it made the generator very hard to run. I removed mine and have not had any issues since.

Very pleased

Purchased through Amazon, arrived in a timely manner in perfect condition. Unpacked, added oil and ethanol-free gas, it started on the 2nd pull. Very satisfied with how quiet it is, will be using it with a small travel trailer. Let it run for 20 minutes with a light load, then shut down. A few hours later it started first pull and I connected to the trailer and started the A/C. The generator was only about 2 feet from the trailer and I couldn't hear it inside with the A/C running. Let it run for 30 minutes, then shut it down. So far, so good. Had to buy the adapter plug, no big deal.

Can work on both gas and propane

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never had or used a generator before so was super excited to get this; always wanted one. As you can see from our video it’s super easy to use! Just be sure to connect the battery, add oil then either use gas or propane and you’re good to go.
