Great Service

Purchased due to Hurricane. Twenty six days without power and generator never skipped a beat. Changed oil as recommend and allowed to cool down at each re-fill of fuel. Connected directly to home and ran ceiling fans, all lighting, freezer, refrigerator and two window units. Easy start and CO2 SENSOR. Highly recommend.

Good product

I think its a great generator, however it was damaged upon delivery. The housing cage was bent and the panel also a little bent up. Normally I would have sent it back but needed it ASAP. Overall it runs great but was extremely disappointed with the damage upon delivery.

Hard ramp up, but after that a great unit !

First day I got it was really hard to get it working, 5 attempts or more every time I wanted to start the Inverter, the second day was a little bit easier. Its been in use for 4 days now, starting is no longer a problem, I can get it running every time at the first try. Don´t know if it was part of the break in period or what. Unit is super capable, I can run an electric grill and a Makita saw at the same time with no trouble. Fuel efficiency is great on econo mode. The only down to this product is the weight, You need two strong guys to load it into a pickup truck, if you are camping with the wife probably the generator will stay in the car 'cause its really heavy.

Lots of features

Starts and runs great. Very quiet. However, there is a slight “ticking “ or “ knocking” noise at times. Also it squeals when I plug in a 500watt ceramic heater. No squealing with a heavier load.hoping the noise goes away with use as we don’t have any Generac service in this area. I may take it apart myself. Otherwise I quite like it.

Excellent portable generator

After months of extensive research, I chose the Generac IQ3500 as a home back power source. All of the pre-work paid off. This unit is very well built, runs extremely well, and is unbelievably quiet. Could not be more pleased with this generator. Well done Generac.

Very quiet and easy to maintan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the iQ3800 for home backup during storms and weekend RV trips—and it’s been outstanding. It kicks out 3,800 starting watts (3,100 running) on gas or 3,420/2,790 on propane, giving me flexibility when fuel is tight. Despite its power, it stays impressively quiet, so I can run it overnight without bothering the neighbors. Built with a rugged steel frame and protected outlets, it’s held up to bumps and rough handling, and the Eco‑Mode™ engine control delivers smooth, efficient performance under varying loads. I love the electric start (with manual backup) and the Smart CO™ shutoff for safety. Routine upkeep is a breeze thanks to tool‑free access to the oil fill and air filter. For reliable, low-noise power and minimal maintenance whenever and wherever I need it, the Generac iQ3800 has been a fantastic, peace-of-mind investment.

Truly a savior for hurricane season

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Generac iQ3800 is a dual-fuel portable inverter generator that can run on either gasoline or propane, offering a 3800-watt starting power (3000-watt running power) and a fully enclosed case for noise reduction. It features an easy-to-use electric start, integrated handle, and never-flat wheels for portability. An intelligent LED display shows power output and fuel consumption, while COsense® technology provides carbon monoxide safety. This will be our best friend for this upcoming hurricane season.

Dual fuel generator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the weather been weird and the power go out quite often at my place. Receiving the generator is a game changer. Even though, it is about 111lb, but the generator come with wheel which it make it easier to carry around. This is a dual fuel, it can run in both either propane or gasoline. Easy to use with electric start, just push the button. It is easy to maintenance and its quieter than the other brand. I would like to recommend it.

General Power system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Generac iQ3800 from Influenster. And it’s been an absolute game-changer for backup power and outdoor use. The dual fuel capability (gasoline and propane) offers great flexibility, especially during emergencies when fuel availability can be unpredictable. Maintenance is easy. And it’s quieter than other generators.
