We purchased the split king Reserve medium tight top after reading about it and seeing it in a mattress store. We were so excited about getting this very expensive new mattress. In less than 30 days both mattresses began to dip in the middle. My husband said he felt like he was about to roll off the bed. My back hurts so bad that I have to get up every 2-3 hours. The mattresses slides everyday and leaves a large gap in the center so we have to push it back together. The base is tied together and doesn't move. I am so disappointed. We spoke with the company where we purchased the mattress and frame and we will have to pay $250 to return the mattress. There would not be a charge if we exchanged it for another bed just like what we have but I have lost my trust in this brand. I am not sure if it would have been a better mattress if it had been a king rather than a split king. The mattress is approximately 49 days old and has been a big disappointment to us.

This mattress is outrageous. Prior to purchasing, layed on the other top brands. This mattress, from the time you lay on it feels so luxurious. I know preferences differ, but for me, there's nothing like the experience. It helps to melt away the anxiety, especially with the base Temper Ergo Smart). At this point, there's nothing I don't love about it.

Mattress was great for 1 month until suddenly a 6 inch deep by 3 foot long hole appeared in the center of the mattress. It's unusable now. I have tried every phone number and customer support email on the website dozens of times, no response. You can't talk to anyone. It's supposed to have a 10 year warranty. Bought from a large furniture store but they special ordered this mattress, not a Stearns and Foster dealer, so they won't help at all. Worst customer service ever. I'm ready to drive the mattress 12 hours to the factory and return it in person. I'm hoping to get a response from this review as nothing else works.

Was very surprised before i start let me say i recieved this mattress as part of a promotion and was blessed to get to review it. I like the handles in the side makes it easier to move around. 2nd thing I noticed was the little air holes on side. Was super excited about that I'm a hot sleeper live in Texas can say I think this idea actually works its not like a ice box bit I diffenelty seem to be cooler at night not so stuffy . So that wad a major bonus with me . It's pretty tall when you put it on a box spring I really like that. Get deep pockets sheets also. Havnt had any issues with sheets coming off so that another thing I like usually sheet is half off by morining. And I received the soft lux hybrid first time with a mattress with memory foam. And I loved it. I like that it's a hybrid so you get the benefits of both memory foam and springs. I'm a side sleeper and havnt woke up to my shoulder hurting and that is awsome. The only thing is that my and my husband I feel end up in the middle some nights leaning on each other and with it being soft it feels like you kinda sink in but I like it and love it first luxury mattress I have owned and it did not disappoint. It has just the right amount of firmness (I can't stand mattresses that are too soft or too firm). The pillow top is a nice luxurious touch also that most mattresses don't have. We recommend the mattress highly.

I was really surprised with the Stearns & Foster Reserve Soft Pillowtop. First, it's the thickest mattress I've ever slept on. Do buy deep fitted sheets to cover this. Second, it's not bouncy. My husband getting in bed next to me barely affected my side of the bed. Lastly, it's incredibly soft, but I am supported and slept comfortably. Because I never trust soft mattresses to h support me when I'm sleeping, I would not have picked this out in the store. This trial has changed my mind. This mattress is amazing. I would recommend it to everyone, even those who are used to sleeping on firm mattresses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked when I received this Queen sized Stearns & Foster Reserve Medium Tight Top. This mattress is the thickest mattress I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping on! First of all, it's HEAVY! It took me and my husband dragging it up our house's stairs to get it into our bedroom. The sewn in handles on the sides makes it slightly easier to move, but it's still super heavy. Once we got it on the bed frame, I noticed that since the mattress is so thick, it covers up half the headboard! That's not a complaint, as the thickness is what makes this mattress so comfortable! There are sewn in grooves and waves in the top of the mattress that give it this pillow feeling when you lay down. Both me and my husband weren't disturbed when we tried moving around as the other person laid still. The mattress works well at absorbing movements. Also, not that you'll see it when you have bedding on it, but the deep blue color of the mattress is gorgeous. I do think a deep pocket sheet set would work better than a standard queen sized set. I'm excited that this is now my new bed, I feel almost spoiled! I will keep telling my friends and family that Stearns & Foster is worth the hype and the money!

I have only slept on this mattress for a few weeks, and I really like it so far. This is my first hybrid mattress. The medium is softer than I expected. Compared to my eight years old memory mattress, it's much cooler. It seems like this mattress provides support evenly all night. I can find my comfortable sleeping position easily, and fall asleep fast. I wake up feeling rested every morning.
