Worst sound bar ever

Junk.. the volume isn’t a steady sound.. it gets really loud, when i turn it down then it’s too low, it doesn’t keep a steady volume level.. worst experience ever… The only thing that was nice was the ease of hook up.. that’s it

Spent hours and hours trying to get this thing so work with two different Vizio TVs. One Is a 2015 and the other is a 2024. Would not work with either television. Awful product.

Works great when it does

We purchased this sound bar after listening to a demo station inside of Sam's Club. The sound is great when the sound bar setup is working. Unfortunately the latter is the source of this 2 star review. The wireless connection keeps disconnecting so you may go days without realizing that the subwoofer is not working. Unplugging both the sound bar and the subwoofer will allow you to reconnect and pair them again but what a pain. The other problem is that Vizio expects you to download their mobile app and use it as a remote control. We have not even gotten that far with TVs as of yet so I think this is a big miss and setting up Vizio for severe customer pushback (aka returns). I cannot recommend this sound bar and will be returning it for another brand.

Terrible Connection

The soundbar sounded decent for the price. But like others mentioned, there is no remote, you have to go through the setup on your phone. But cumbersome to have to download the app and set it up. But everytime my phone screen turned off, the connection to the speaker would be lost and would not reconnect. I had to completely forget the device and go through the setup process again. Did this 5 times before packing it back up and returning it.

Seemed like a good value. upon trying to hook up, noticed it didn't meet the needs of my TV. swapped to a different TV, got everything hooked up to notice no remote and ARC settings do not allow for audio control through TV remote on non Vizio TV. soundbar is useless to me as it can only be controlled through a phone app. Before I buy a remote for the soundbar like Vizio wants you to do, I'll just buy a Soundbar that works like it should.

Decent sound,reasonable price-but audio dropouts!

Decent sound for a reasonable price, but with the soundbar connected (HDMI ARC) to my Vizio TV, I get audio dropouts with every button press on my TiVo remote, and dropouts for most of the button presses on the Apple TV remote. I can live with it, but every time you press a button, the audio drops for almost a full second. Still hoping I can get this resolved.

Theater-like sound, BUT

I installed this device for use with my TCL 65" Roku TV. The out-of-box sound was dark with too much bass. Because my TV is not a Vizio, an app had to be downloaded to my phone in order to control sound parameters. There is no dedicated remote, nor are the appropriate controls on the device. The connection to the app is unstable, and equalization must be reset each time the device is powered off and on. When finally connected and adjusted for proper equalization, the device produces a great theater-like sound powerful enough to put our Cockapoo in distress. I am returning the device. Control from the phone app is too problematic and work intensive. A novice with technology would have difficulty making the connections required. Hopefully, the device pairs better with a Vizio TV and does not require the app for control. I can recommend this product for owners of Vizio TVs only. If you own something other than a Vizio, look for a device that does not require downloading an app to your phone.

It's fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for the price point at the time. Returned the 1st one due to tech problems. New one loses connection with its subs and side speakers often causing a reboot often. Sound is ok for the price. It's not in a main room of the house so it's fine.
