I've had worse dumplings from a take out place, but neither are they great. If someone served them to me I'd eat them no worries I'd just not buy them for myself. The flavor is a little bland and the sauce does all of the heavy lifting. If you have a good dipping sauce at home these would make a fine delivery system or good for people or kids that like plain food.

I've been on a hunt for something like these. I have tried a couple of Walmart ones, but none of them taste that good. These are delicious and I love the sauce. IMO the flavors are balanced and I really enjoyed eating them. I cooked them in the pan using the instructions and they were ready in minutes, which makes it great for lunch. The packaging is smart because you can split it in half and eat it for lunch. Once side is 2.5 servings, but it is still much better than fast food.

Yesterday I bought the SUMM! Sesame Ginger Chicken Dumplings, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. I was really looking forward to these, expecting a nice kick of flavor from ginger. But honestly, they were quite bland. Even dipping them in the sauce didn’t help much; they still tasted pretty blah. The texture was okay, but overall, they just aren't my taste. Seeing other reviews about the flavor and heat level, maybe I got a portion of run without as much seasoning. I won’t be buying these again.

These are really good! I got them and put them in my freezer to use when I wanted them and let me tell you they are better than take out. So good and the sauce is actually very tasty and not overly salty like most are that you get in stores. Super easy to prepare and quick. I'll definitely stock up on these and hope they continue to carry them.

I followed the instructions for both the microwave and stovetop methods exactly as written. The stovetop method definitely yielded a better result. However, I found the instructions to be somewhat lacking, as the dough still had a raw taste. Additionally, the dumplings didn’t sear well or develop the crispy exterior you’d expect from a restaurant. If I try this product again, I’ll pan-sear them at a much higher heat. On the positive side, both the filling and the sauce were excellent.
