Usually with litter I can never find one that keeps the bathroom smelling nice. I'm glad I was able to try this and will definitely be buying more!

I just bought this litter because I wanted to start buying tidy cats. It seemed like a decent litter for a reasonable price. Until I actually used it. The smell is so overpowering and smells like alcohol. It almost makes me gag. I won't be buying again.

My usual litter is freshstep scoopable mutli-cat. I have two cats and two litter boxes. I purchased 3 of these boxes on my last visit(Only get to Sam's once every 2-3 months#. I decided to do a comparision--so one box is my usual freshstep -from Sams and the other litter box was tidy cats with glade. I started off by cleaning the boxes with soap and water and then put in clean litter. Been usuing both boxes now for over 3 weeks-scooping everyday. First off- there was very little dust-if any- compared to my "usual" litter. Loved that. Second-i like the texture and clumped very good --had less little "crumblies" or left behind little stuff-- than freshstep when scooping. Loved that. The smell is a tad on the overpowering side. It does not stink -just EXTREMELY STRONG. Cats would not use the box with Tidy in it for a week--i had to add a box of baking soda to counteract the strong smell. After the soda was added they started usuing it-actually only one cat will use it#the other one just does not like ANY kind of change#. Had less litter tracking on the carpet with Tidy.-Loved that. Added benefit was Tidy was alot easier to pour into the litter box. Also it covered the urine and feces smell--cause all i could smell was the STRONG glade smell-everytime the box was used. For me -so far it has done a good job and i like it #like it alot more if the smell was a little less-not just for the cat's sake but for mine#. I dont think i am going totally off of freshstep--but i might do -one box fresh and the other Tidy. Plus -if the cats wont use it--there is no point--and so far I only have one cat that will use that box. I have tried most the litters on the market - the cats and i loved cats pride -fresh and light in all area's except one-it never covered the smell. I would recommend this--so far but you might want to add a box of baking soda to help with the smell-if it is too strong for you and the cat--which really defeats the purpose of no dust cause you just added a box of dust to the litter. Over all-if you and your cat can handle the smell--it is a good litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using the Tidy Cats litter in the bucket because it's so convenient and less trips to the store! I was impressed with this Glade clear springs scented clumping litter. The scent was nice and long lasting! And the tight clumps made for easy cleanup.

I'm amazed at the difference between conventional scooping litter and the lightweight litter. We have 7 litter boxes and have to buy a lot of litter. The lightweight factor makes my life so much easier and it seems easier to scoop AND still controls the odor, in some cases better than other litters.

I received a free sample from PINCHme, and now I am SOLD!!! First, it is light weight and easy to pour. Second, BEST ODOR CONTROL on the market. I hate anything stinky and this made it so people didn't think I even had a cat. Third, it is affordable. It may not be the least expensive on the market but you really get a great product for $2 more. Highly recommended!!! I have already told everyone I know about that has cats.

It actually smells nice and keeps cat odors down. We have 2 male cats, so stink can happen quick. We have used this for a week, and with daily scoops, there really isn't a smell. Highly recommend ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked that the Tidy Cats Lightweight was easier to pick up and handle. I have always used Tidy Cats brand litter but purchased those heavy pales. I love that it blocks the odor and that it is lightweight but my cats track it EVERY WHERE! It sticks up in between their paws and gets stuck to the hair on my long haired Siamese feet. They track it all through the house and on my bed since they sleep there during the day. I think we will just stick with the regular Tidy Cats. I would highly recommend this litter to anyone that has trouble lifting and handling the heavy litter.
