I never (really, never) leave reviews for things, but this new "scent control" was so bad that I had to share this. First, I really appreciate Tidy Cats brand clumping cat litter. By far, the Tidy Cats brand provides *the best* overall clumping cat litter on the market. BUT, this new brand - Tidy Cats Glade Tough Odor Solutions - is the worst smelling litter I've ever used. Out of the box it smells funny, and after use it smells worse. Rancid is what comes to mind. I bought this particular "version" because it was new and we were about to go out of town for a week. We came home to a unpleasant smell thinking it was the fact that the two-litter boxes (one cat) was the cause. I cleaned the boxes out (there was still plenty of fresh litter available), but the next day the house smelled funny again. It was definitely the litter. The 24/7 performance version is the best of what they have to offer, and I will recommend this to anyone. This new "Glade" collaboration is something to avoid.

I have 5 cats and 3 litter boxes........ have them in a corner of the basement.  The first two had the new litter in it (one with glade) and the other had the regular Tidy cat litter. Well I found out that after one of my cats holding it for so long and went to the bathroom  in front of me.... a few of them didn't care for  the new litter.  And one of them (one that went in front of me) was now spooked of the cat boxes.  I had to wash the boxes out and get new litter.... and now they are good again. Be careful  not all cats like this smell!  I like this brand and have used for years but I dont think adding this kind of smell is good for cats.

It does a great job of odor control especially when cleaning the boxes out, but I didn't like the fact they tracked the litter to rooms I never had litter in before. I have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes but the tracking litter was a big problem for me. I'll stick to the other tidy cats litter I have been using.

I have been choosing tidy cats brand for years and am always pleased with the product. This one I will never buy again. When I first poured it the smell surprised me. It smells like rotten citrus. A very strong, pungent odor that I do not like at all. It still seems to clump well but I just can't deal with that smell.

This is the WORSE WORSE WORSE litter I have ever purchased . Not only does it NOT have “10 day Oder control “ but it gets everywhere ! When I say my kitty tracks his litter from the bathroom to the bedroom ! Ugh ! It's Frustrating ! It gets stuck in his paws , I find litter in MY BED ! I've had dollar tree litter that was better than this ! Absolutely unhappy and will NEVER EVER EVER buy this product OR brand ever again !

I have been using only tidy cats lightweight clumping litter for months now. I was happy to see the new Glade scent has been added to the light weight. I had used that scent in the heavyweight version and was pleased with it. I have 2 cats and 2 litter boxes and no kitty litter odor in my house!

Because of store shortages of my usual litter, I purchased 4 boxes (8 bottles) of Purina Tidy Cats Clumping Litter with Glade. This product claims to be a clumping and > 99% dust free ltter. It is not either. It does a fair job encapsulating the poop but does not clump the urine at all. My cats have always used their box with no issues. I slowly transitioned from the old litter to this product and once the litter box contained all of this product my cats began peeing on our carpet runners. They poop in the box but prefer to pee elsewhere. When they do pee in the box the urine odor is overpowering and never clumps. It just makes wet, stinky balls that fall apart when I attempt to scoop them. I set up a different box using a different brand of litter and now they're using it and ignoring the Tidy Cats box. The urine in the Tidy Cats box was still wet and not clumped a week later.

I purchased two of these jugs, and this is the most awful litter I have ever used! The litter turns into a strange sludge and is impossible to scoop out of the litter box. I have resorted to taking the whole tray outside and beating against the driveway to get it out.

Most cat litter is too heavy when you big the larger amounts to save money. This one is delivered free to my door. I can open the box right where it was delivered and take the 20 lb jugs out one at a time and store them easily in my closet. I have 5 cats, all one family and 4 litter boxes. Clumps well and very good odor control. I use the sifting litter boxes so this isn't too hard to do.

I didn't like this , I will stay with Fresh steps!
