We have 3 cats and have recently started buying this because its a better buy then our old brand.  One of our cats is having an allergic reaction to it. She is constantly licking, scratching and pulling her fur out leaving big sores on her body. Her sister won't use the litter boxes at all. Our male is not having any issues with it. While it smells good in the pail and does clump, it does not mask the litterbox smells even with scooping the boxes everyday. We still have some left but I'm trashing it and switching back to our old litter.

I have long been a fan of the scent of Instant Action and I will continue to buy that. I do not like the scent of the glade at all. It also makes me cough because of the dust. But I love Tidy Cats and will buy it forever! I have used Tidy Cats for years. While I am partial to the fragrance of the Instant Action, there are many choices and they really work. My cats love your litter and so do I.

After seeing all the negative posts I had to respond with how much I disagree. Maybe it depends on your cat? I'm not sure, but my healthy 4 and 7 year old kitties have no problems with this litter. Their litter box is literally right next to my toilet. Not only does it never stink, it is like an air freshener for the bathroom. It smells so good, even when I need to clean the box, which I do about every other day. I've tried a ton of different litters and this is by far my favorite. When I pick my cats up to hold them they even smell fresh like Glade! It's great! Oh, and it clumps tight every time! Great product, great price! All I ever buy!

Pros: 1. Great Price Cons: 1. Did nothing to mask the smell of cat feces. 2. Tons of Dust 3. Consistently stuck to my cats paws. Therefore constant litter outside the litter box 4. Did not clump well I bought the Arm and Hammer litter and have not looked back because all the issues above are non-existent.

This litter is so bad, I came to this site only to warn others against it. Smells awful like nuclear play doh....and doesn't clump on urine. In less than 2 weeks, I've had to completely change all the litter in the box 3 times because scooping doesn't work. Worst litter I've ever used. 

I have 2 litter boxes and put the Tidy Cats with Glade in only one to see if the cats would use it. Three days have gone by and it was only used once. I could tell by the wet clump on the side when I checked to clean it. Their other box was used more than usual. I don't think the cats like it. I know they don't like some perfumed litters and this one was very strong. Also the texture is different than the Tidy Cats I normally purchase. I love the fact that it is so light and easy to sift through. I did not like the strong Glade smell. I had to put my shirt over my nose so I didn't smell it. Wet clump was hard to scrap off bottom of litter box. It seemed to get like clay litter with styrofoam . A trade off of no dust for strong Glade smell.

The "NEW" Tidy Cats that I purchased has the "blue section/bubble" at the lower left side of the container that states Tough Odor SOLUTIONS. Nothing indicates that there will be a scent. My four cats HATE scented cat litter. My husband asked what the stench was. I had no idea what he was talking about until I entered the hallway where the x-tra large cat pan is placed. It smelled like a chemical. My daughter noticed that two cats were prowling the house and one of them started to urinate in the corner. After retrieving the Tidy Cat container from the recycling bin, I read in very small print on the side "Glade Clear Springs scent". After signing on this site, I noticed that the new containers reflect the fact that it is scented. I would not recommend this to anyone, due to the odor/chemical smell. My husband described it as "sour vinegar".

I love this litter! I had been using another type of Tidy Cats that I had really liked however this is better than that. I have 5 cats which go out into a cat kennel to potty sometimes which is loaded with sand. I have 2 large litter boxes in the house for inside use. They seem to like this better than the other kind and it is far easier to clean out as it clumps very well. No smell to ruin the kitty room air either.

I got this litter to try out and i love it compared to the other litters ive tried. I have 3 cats and i have tried tons of different litters. This litter smells great,is so light and clumps super tight. No more smelly boxes or urine sitting at the bottom of the box. I will definitely be buying this litter from now on.. I love it and so do my kitties!!

I have tried a few different brands and types of litters and have 3 cats. They were feral kittens we rescued at 5 weeks from the neighborhood bushes and decided to keep them as [art of our family. With the addition of 3 cats my biggest concern was the litter boxes and the cost. I had tried this Purina litter from another store but wanted to find a better price. Man oh man was I excited that I found find this pack of litter. This is such a good deal for such a good brand that I hope it continues to be available through Sams Club. It also scoops and clumps well and smells fantastic. You don't have to drill it off the bottom as it doesn't get stuck. You just give it a little scrape and you're golden, it loosens right up. I just freshened up the cat boxes and the cats came in and used the boxes and no odor after they covered their business :) A+
