Just OK

I guess it technically works as described. I'll probably never use it though because it's only somewhat effective on 3-4" of light, unpacked snow and only on very smooth surfaces. The 10" width means a lot of passes, but that wasn't unexpected. Just annoying in actual use.

Worked great with normal snow storm

Had 2 storms so far. First was 6" of snow followed by rain and then 1/2" of ice. The snow was so heavy even large snow blowers had trouble and this snow shovel wouldn't work. But the second storm was 8" of just snow and this shovel worked great. I cleaned off my deck and walk really fast, which was good cause it was almost 0 degrees after the storm so it was good to get back in the warm house. I would recommend this shovel because except for those rare storms like the first one we had, this shovel will work. And it will work great.

A Real Blowhard

Well, we’ve had this device for about two months and it has really been put through the ringer. The last snowfall was about 14 inches. The blower is well made and very powerful. It will throw snow a considerable distance. But, with a really significant amount it requires that you cut down in stages. With amounts that don’t exceed the height of the blower mouth, or that aren’t very wet/heavy it does a fine job. This particular model is obviously not for large areas or massive amounts of the white stuff. But, for smaller jobs it is more than adequate. Very impressed.

Cleared aluminum ramp

I got this to remove snow off of an aluminum 48ft. ramp. With traction bars. I only had to use it once. But 4 swipes in 2 1/2 “ high snow and I was done. I usually like to wait on reviews. To see how it will work in high snow. It was a lot easier than shoveling.

Amazing product

This is actually a unit that is a Christmas gift for my daughter and family. I purchased The same unit last winter and used it constantly. I actually used it for doing my whole Driveway and walk and it took the snow and ice down to the blacktop. It was light, very Manageable and the battery performed better than the specs. In fact we had our first snow overnight and I just came in from using my unit to clear the driveway and walk And again it did the job. I have recommended it to a number of people. If would be possible to develop a clip on deflector to alter the direction it would get a Sixth star. I am a senior and using this unit has saved me from back aching shoveling.

Snow joe is no joke!

15 inch snowfall in Nebraska from recent storm provided opportunity to test out my new snow joe. Had 3 foot drifts accumulate across a large back deck while I was clearing snow on driveway and street with snow blade on my ZTR. Snow was too deep and path was inaccessible around to back yard deck and sliding door was packed in about 2 feet high. The snow joe allowed me to layer off in about 4 passes an incredible amount of snow. I’m 70 years old and without the snow joe I would still be scooping. It cleans very well and in any snow amount 6” or less it is fantastic and fast. Cleans down to deck or concrete level. It seems like you are operating an upright vacuum by comparison to energy required to push the snow joe when snow is at 6” This thing is fantastic for decks and small areas. Battery lasted about 45 minutes. Another battery would be a good option but at 70 years old I welcomed the break to recharge the battery (approx. 1 hour). This is a winner for sure and my deck is clear!

Sno Joe is the way to go!

I'm 82 years old and am tired of shoveling the walkway, etc. so I switched as many tools as I can to battery operated. I used the SnoJoe for the first time last week and was surprised at how well it worked. Cleaning my stairs and walkway was a breeze.

Excellent

I give it a 10+. It just glided over the snow. Today was the first chance I got to use it. First snow here in Ohio. I have been anxious to try it. Worked better than I had expected. It is much quieter than a snow blower. I would highly recommended. For someone who cannot afford a snowblower, this would be a great option.

Works Great

Works great if you get to it right after its done snowing , If you let it freeze up its just like if you were shoveling by hand its a pain in the butt , don't get me wrong it still chops threw the hard stuff but your risking throwing frozen projectiles that can cause damage to property overall very pleased with this great little snow blower/thrower
