[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opted into this because I have a kid and had lots of carpet and upholstery with deeply embedded stains and odors, even though I don’t have any pets, I needed a deep cleaner for our carpet and upholstery to make this house nice again. I do not just recommend it for households with pets. I’m sure it’s great for pet households, but it’s just as great for any household that needs a good deep cleaning. With the Shark CarpetXpert, I am able to finally get rid of stains and odors, and it’s so easy and fun!! I had a really easy and good time assembling this, I don’t always follow instructions well but the included User’s Manual is very clear on assembly, usage, and maintenance of the CarpetXpert. If I can do it, almost anyone can, I have severe ADHD. Using the CarpetXpert was also easy and fun! Everything about this thing is easy and fun. It sucks all the dirty water and soap up into the dirty water tank on the front, in one of my pictures you can see how some dirty water collected after doing a chair and part of the carpet. It’s not for delicate rugs, but for carpets. It’s not a vacuum cleaner, you really probably need to vacuum before using it in fact. It’s a deep cleaner, and a wonderfully convenient one. It will leave your carpet and especially upholstery wet and it takes a while to dry so I recommend using it before bedtime. But what a difference it makes!! Everything is so much cleaner and fresher, and stains and odors are gone for good, until we get new ones. I really feel like if I continue to use this after vacuuming, my home will be a much nicer place to live in and my family will be healthier. It certainly seems well-made and durable, and even maintenance looks fun and easy. It’s a chore, and a bit of a workout, but this CarpetXpert makes it all enjoyable and rewarding. I still have to get the hang of using the hand tool properly because the soap got all over my hand when I used it and the soap isn’t supposed to touch your skin. I know I should’ve washed it off but I didn’t and had no reaction. By the way, this comes with two cleansing solutions (the soap) and they smell nice and clean and fresh, making your carpet and upholstery smell nice and clean and fresh (and mild). Just don’t lose the User’s Guide and you should be fine! I recommend this to anyone with carpeting who wants a nice clean fresh house. I’m so used to my house being dirty and this really does wonders. I posted a review of it on my private Facebook account too and a friend said it’s the same exact model they use at her job, she cleans motel rooms and has told me it can get very messy (she’s even found blood there). She loves the CarpetXpert too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the shark carpetXpert hairpro pet with stain striker, complementary in exchange for my honest opinion. This Shark carpet cleaner is not a vacuum. This is a wet vac that basically will clean and steam/wash your carpet at the same time. This is extremely useful for pet owner. It is strong and has great suction power. At first I was confused and thought it is a vacuum, but it’s actually a wet vacuum for your carpet. Takes sometime to learn how to use it, but I do enjoy using it on my carpet once I get a hang of it. As for the design, it looks good. Wish it is a bit more user-friendly though. Functionally- not only it removes stain on carpet, it also remove odor. Overall if you don’t have pet, it is not really for you. For pet owners, it would be a nice addition to the house.

If you have kids or pets this is a MUST HAVE. My only complaint is I can only find the cleaner on the shark website and shipping is $10.

So glad we received this carpet cleaner! We have light color carpet in the basement and accidentally spilled coffee on it 😭 We tried other cleaner but it didn’t do the job. As soon as this was delivered, we gave it a shot….whoa! This carpet cleaner is beyond amazing, how does it get all of the ick out of the carpet! (Video and container speaks the results). The technology is above the rest with the combination of high-speed brush roll, power spray high-pressure spray and powerful suction delivers the best dirt, ick and odor removal. The instructions about how to actually use it and the meaning of each indicator could have been clearer. Amazing cleaning power! Not this is not vacuum, but carpet / upholstery cleaning device and solutions. So it is recommended to vacuum before use. The results are great. Only one down side is that it get warm pretty easy which make you take a break of 10 minutes to cool down , so it’s kind slowing the cleaning process. But other than that , good value.

I have had several carpet cleaners but none that cleaned as effective as this one with easy part storage. You could smell the room and carpet getting cleaner with a fresh scent. The hose and accessory cleaning feature was great, the dirty water tank was easy to dump and empties completely unlike some other brands

It comes with a hand crevice and bristle tool perfect for spot cleaning rugs or furniture. It had a high pressure spray and really strong suction,perfect for deep cleaning. It extracted dirt and grime well I could see it going into the chamber. My rugs were dirtier then I thought. They are very clean now after using this cleaner. It is easy to clean up after using the removable water and debris portion cones put with ease. It also comes with a hose cleaning tool so no smells when storing. This is one of the best cleaners I have ever used I would highly reccomend
