I bought this for my husband, he does a lot of wood working projects. This shop vac works great. Has some great attachments, a muffler to keep it quiet, a extra long cord, and on board storage for wand attachments, also a drain plug on bottom of unit, when using as a wet vac. The price was great in comparison to other models that were similar.

So powerful and quiet it has made me a Vacmaster fan. So long ShopVac, you have some catching up to do. Love the 12 gal. size, it takes the standard size bags and is just the right size for home shop use.

Wondering why I waited so long to ditch the old craftsman who served me well for 10+ years. Even the Mrs. was grateful for this beast of a machine!

This vacuum works exactly as described. Used it as soon as we got it to clean up drywall dust. It works great.

Used it to clean ducts in an old 100+ yrs home. Used the bag because of the nature of that dust. Works great! Very powerful, the choice following quite a bit of research. Happy with the outcome.

I purchased this vacuum a few months ago for use in a dog training facility. We are constantly cleaning up dirt, water spills, food crumbs, and lots and LOTS of dog hair. I have a Shop Vac at home, and I thought there was no way this thing would be as good. WRONG. This thing is so much better. I often wait to vacuum my car out until I'm at work because this does such an amazing job. It comes with a ton of attachments and I use all of them. The only thing I don't use is the sound diffuser, because I worry that dampening the sound will put strain on the motor. I highly recommend this, and I plan on buying my dad one for Father's Day.

The beast will suck start a Harley with bad rings. On the job site we use the Beast for general clean up and it will puck up any thing. I really like the fine filter as I use it for coal soot on remolding old houses that had coal furnaces in them. I seen the reviews on Protoolreview and they do not describe all that this vac can do. It has way more suction than the Ridget's 16 gallon that I was using. Plus I like that the hose stands up to more abuse and it has brackets that I can store it on top of the vac. This came with plenty of attachments to do almost any job. You will not be disappointed if you purchase it Sam's Club.

I've worked in construction for many years and have used many shop vacs. They are all a compromise, none will be your perfect vac. Here are what I like, and wish for. What I like: Wire "horns" hose-keeper on top; flat place on top to place small tools; "muffler" attachment on exhaust quietens the unit, is an extra bit of filter for fine particles (when sanding drywall for example) and does away with the heavy blowing of exhaust that blows dust around (for when I work in a customers home); the included hose reducer easily hooks up to my orbital sander (via a pvc elbow), What I wish for: 2' longer hose (is a stretch to use at ceiling height, sanding drywall for example); round soft-brush attachment; the wide nozzle for floor cleaning needs a "bristle bar" to raise it off the floor a bit to keep it from completely sucking itself to the floor. As is you have to tilt it back on the forward stroke and up on the reverse; a third extension tube for floor vacuuming (at 5'8" I have to bend over a bit to clean, for someone taller I think it would be downright uncomfortable).
