General Altimax RT43 - 225/65R17 102T Tire

Very smooth ride, good handling.  Excellent traction in rain.

I would buy these tires from GENERAL TIRES again.

Very good All- Season radial for SUVs. Very quiet on the highway, good traction in snow.

Good tire in Rain. Also good traction in snow.

I purchased these tires october of 2017.  Have approx 8k on them.  Very happy with purchase.

Feels like cement tires at highway speed, like tires are made of concrete, thumpy, clunky, wobbly, loud and all over the road, horrible in rainy weather, hate to see what they're like in the snow, sorry to have made the purchase, salesman raved about them, come to find out I overpaid for cheap tires.

Horrible ride

After considerable research I was down to 3 choices and decided to purchase the General  RT43 Altimax in June 2017 for my 2010 Toyota Matrix. Best decision ever! I am thrilled with the performance they provide. With superior handling in the rain and excellent in snow I couldn't ask for anything better living in MI. On Fuel Efficiency- my vehicle gets great MPG  City / Hwy, I don't find that the tires increased or decreased this. Final analysis - Best tires ever, one won't go wrong with the RT43 AltiMAX.
