General Altimax RT43 - 225/65R17 102T Tire

The AltiMax tires provide a smooth ride at an affordable price. Handling on the road under various conditions is very good.

I would purchase these tires again.

General Tire

Night & day difference from the old tires. Better suited for urban driving than the higher speed rated offerings.

Good choice for hard to find 15'' size.

Put these tires on in early fall. Run them through the entire 6 month North Dakota winter. Extremely satisfied with these tires.

I have bought 2 sets of General Tires

I researched tires for a month. They are everything they were advertised as... And then some. Dry pavement handling is superb.

Was told at 16k miles that these needed to be replaced as they wouldn't pass state inspection due to advanced tread wear. I took them in at 10k miles for a rotation and intended to do another at 20k. I'm now at 20k miles and they've got nothing left. Don't waste your money unless you find enjoyment in replacing tires once a year.

I bought these tires for my Honda CRV because they were highly rated in a consumer magazine.  The review has been accurate.  These tires give a very smooth ride and are very responsive in wet weather.  We have been very pleased with a slight increase in gas mileage.
