General Altimax RT43 - 225/65R17 102T Tire

Have only had these for about 2 months and have only made one road trip but so far so good.Nice ride ,smooth and quiet

have been using Generals for years and they have always met my expectations for top of the line performance at a reasonable price !

solid overall performance and value for the money

Great tires as replacements on my 2006 Camry.  Have 30K on them now and they are quiet and great in the rain.

Great Tires

6000 miles on these, and very pleased.  Good wet traction, have not yet tried them in snow/ice. Fairly quiet, good traction, good ride.

Sometimes while driving they seem like they have air pockets in them because the car bounces while driving at a higher speeds but nothing visable

Not the best but ok

On a 12 Mustang v6 and also have them on a 14 Patriot. Ride smooth, minimal road noise and splash through the water with ease.

Can NOT go wrong with the Alta max tires!

SO FAR THE TIRES HAVE BEEN GREAT.  SMOOTH RIDING , LOW NOISE LEVEL ON THE HIGHWAY. LOOKING FORWARD TO BUYING ANOTHER SET OF TIRES FOR MY OTHER CAR.

The AltiMax tires provide a smooth ride at an affordable price. Handling on the road under various conditions is very good.

I would purchase these tires again.

Night & day difference from the old tires. Better suited for urban driving than the higher speed rated offerings.

Good choice for hard to find 15'' size.

Iam soo happy i purchased these tires & did not spend the extra on the expensive ones ' I have had several sets of the RT43's

Very Quiet tire

Bought two AltiMAX™ RT 43 (225/55R-19) back on Nov. 2019. Had them professionally installed as front replacements on a 2014 Dodge Journey with 75,000 miles. Just failed inspection due to both tires being under 2/32"" thread wear. Current vehicle mileage is 95,000 miles with no alignment issues & tires properly inflated so the tires lasted about 20,000 miles (thread wear warranty states 65,000 miles)

I have a rear wheel drive car in Colorado. Don't judge. With my previous tires, my car typically sat in the driveway on snow days. Not so with the RT43. These are some of the best performers I have had on the car. They're not ice and snow tires, but the do exceed my expectations on the snow. As far as dry highway travel they are quiet, keep a straight line and give me confidence.
