I had a set of Michelins on my Ford Transit Connect and replaced them with general RT 43.The generals in the rain when I accelerate from stop signs and red lights spin uncontrollably. I only have about 5000 miles on this set of tires in a years time because of the virus. I would not purchase these tires again because of their poor performance.

I have went through two sets on my Crown Victoria without any issues. I got 70K on the first set with some tread left but purchased a new set that have went 65K and still have decent tread left.  My car is full size and needs to be able to go anywhere, these tires have no problems in any weather, roads, or two tracks. Never been stuck or slid off the road. They ride quiet, smooth, and I am getting 22+ MPG. I plan on using these tires on all my vehicles if possible. Just bought a Toyota Sienna and hope I can get a new set of these tires installed soon. I've been recommending these tires to all my family & friends and they have been great tires for them also. My local tire guy who I carried my set into has been recommending these tires to everyone as well after seeing how long they lasted and performed on my car. He is now stocking them and strongly encouraging customers to purchase these tires.

I work in the automotive field and recommend tires for specific applications to clients on a daily basis. Winter snows lower the mileage on all of our vehicles by an average of almost 10 mpg per vehicle.  The vehicle I drive the most a Hyundai Santa Fe averages 20/21 mpg with snow tires, and when switched over to the All-weather AltiMax 43 mpg increased to 29/31 mpg.   Now retired, gave away the snow tires, and we now handle Winter with the All Weather General tires.  Took a 2 month trip around the country May/June after retiring, hit snow, ice, heat etc.,  and had no problems with the different conditions, nor was mileage affected.

Running these on my 1995 Ford Escort Wagon and I am SO satisfied with these tires. I have had them for two years with no wearing showing.These are better than Cooper or Michelin and I have ran both on the Escort. It's General Tires for me from now on.

These were rated highly by a highly respectable consumer group.  These tires are quiet and ride solidly with no slippage on wet pavement. Haven't had them long and haven't put many miles yet, so we'll see if they hold up as I am a low mileage driver.

These tires have a quiet ride on the highway and get good mileage for my Camry Hybrid.  The ride is more comfortable that my previous tires. So far, traction has been good, even in snowy conditions.  Cornering is also very good and got even better after a 4 wheel  alignment.

I have been a Michelin buyer for years on all my cars. But with my 06 Charger having over a hundred thousand miles, I didn't feel the need or wanting to spend that much on a car I wasn't going to keep much longer. I was very surprised this winter with the way these tires handled, also very good in wet weather. Another good thing about these tires which is very important to me is road noise, and these tires are just as quiet as my Michelins were. You won't go wrong if you buy these tires.

After a great deal of online research including a good recommendation from Consumer Reports, I chose the AltiMAX RT43.  I determined it the best overall tire to be driven by me in the south.  The tire grips the road in the rain, and I have no fear of hydroplaning. The interstate driving has been decidedly pleasant, and no differentiation can be noted at different speeds. When a little get up and go is needed, the tires perform well with the V-Tech engine. Time will tell about the wear.

Just bought my 2nd set for my Buick Encore. The last set of tires was the first time I ever got 50,000 miles & I have been driving for 35 years. Also just recently put General Altimax RT43 on wife's Honda CRV. Hopefully she gets 50,000 miles on her new tires.
