I was very excited to purchase these crab legs for a special dinner for my husband. I have never been so embarrassed by a meal that I have served. All shell and zero meat. Some of the legs were barely larger in diameter than a pencil. You cannot see what you are getting because they are in a sealed cardboard box. We ate two and a half pounds and was still hungry. Sad and a waste to harvest such juvenile crabs. Will not purchase again.

Bought the 2 lb bag of crab legs and size was only passable. I saw the 5 lb box of JUMBO crab legs thinking they would be larger. Smallest legs I have ever seen. So small that there was hardly any meat. Mostly shell and hard to pick out meat. A lot of waste. Not worth purchasing. The 2 lb bag legs are much larger and cheaper. Don't waste your money

I bought 1 box of this for my birthday dinner and it fed 5 people and there was also left over available for the next day it was not salty which I was afraid it was going to be. I seasoned it with my favorite seasonings and everyone enjoyed it definitely will be purchasing again.

We bought the 4 of the 2 pound the bags in store that were on sale. Steamed them all for a family get together and would return if we could. They were small and very salty. The meat inside was water soaked. Probably less then a few ounces per pound of legs. Very disappointed for what it cost.

Normally I don't like purchasing this amount of weight in snow crabs since I'm the only one in my family who eats it. I normally go for the smaller bag but that became unavailable because the snow crabs were harvested from Russian water. These crab legs are wild caught from Canadian waters... they taste so much better. They are a bit smaller but pulling the meat is so simple and clean. Definitely recommend.

Very fresh, mid size

I was excited for the sale price of $49.48 for the snow crab clusters. I don't know if it was just our batch, but there was hardly any meat in them. We were quite embarrassed as we cooked for friends and family for July 4th. The little bit of meant that was there was tasty, but overall not a good value for the work you put into them.

Typically I will purchase a box of these crab legs twice a year and have never had an issue. This past week I took advantage of the "Instant Savings" Sam's Club had running on this 5lb box; believe it was $35.00 off. I was kind of surprised of the price reduction knowing the crab shortage from last year. Well, I found out why. Upon opening the box I noticed a ton of ice buildup and the legs weren't their normal red color, they had a darker tint to them. I always steam my crab legs, and we had a large gathering so I steamed all five pounds at once, after all the legs were thawed. After a four minute steam (just warming them up), the meat was like mush, the shells did not crack, they were more soft and rubbery, and the meat lacked any flavor; not typical of what I'm used to experiencing. I'm convinced that Sam's was clearing old stock, hence the $35.00 instant saving, and I just ended up with an old box of crab legs that were near their expiration and suffered too much freezer time before my purchase. I will have to pay closer attention to the dates on these boxes next time.
