I bought this Frigidaire Retro Mini Refrigerator for my Patio. We spend a lot of time on the Patio so it is perfect for my husbands beer, water, sodats etc. Keeps us from going back and forth into the house. I love it! I love the old 50s feelings it bringsI goes perfect with the Red and Beige Chair Cushions that I also purchased from Walmart. Really brightened by my patio.

I really love the look of this fridge. It's running very quietly (for now), and it generally gets the job done. Some issues: Some parts of it feel really cheap. In the photo, the handle looks one of those old-fashioned, metal handles which, hinged so when you pull on them, they move out a bit and open the fridge. This one seems to be a chrome coating over plastic, it doesn't move, and it feels like if you pull it too hard it will break. The bottle opener is actual metal, but it doesn't work very well. You have to struggle to get the bottle cap to catch, and it feels like it may pull the fridge apart when you remove the bottle cap. So, while the retro paint and styling convey solidity, the actual construction is very, very flimsy, too much plastic, not enough metal. I worry that this fridge will not withstand long use very well. Then there is the space issue. There is a long column of can holders on the inside door. All it can hold is soda cans. This is really a bad idea. All of that space could be put to better use. one can store soda cans on shelves, but it's hard to store anything in a long vertical can holder. In a small fridge, every inch counts.

Fake handle is cheap plastic. I had to trim fitting mechanism to even get it to fit together. I fully expect it to break off eventually. Do not use it to open fridge. Having said that, I have purchased 2 of these. Other than the cheap exterior, they have met my needs.

The fridge makes a loud buzzing noise while its running. Its done so since the first time I plugged it in. I was hopping the loud buzzing noise would go away after awhile but it hasn't. The buzzing noise is vexing but not as vexing as the following: There's a sticker on the inside of the fridge that warns of explosion (careful with fridge). And there's a product warning on the site at the bottom of the page that states the product is known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. I wouldn't have gotten it had I known all of that. Hopefully my review will help others find a better option. I don't feel right selling the fridge to someone and I'm a bit worried as of how to get rid of it.

Do not buy this mini frige. Mine arrived today with the back pannel missing and a damged door. The door is made out of styrofoam and palstic All the wires and tubes that were exposed looked so fragile and cheaply made. Im so glad i took mine back and got my money back asap.

It’s a nice looking retro fridge. Just the size I was looking for. The addition of a bottle opener is great. The drawbacks are it’s somewhat loud, there is no light inside and the plastic chrome handle is only decorative and would easily break if used to open the door.

I purchased my "Frigidaire" retro mini during the 2018 pre-Black Friday sale. 2-day free de;ivery as advertised. It is the envy of my office teammates, and has worked flawlessly since the day I plugged it in. (This item is NOT manufactured by Frigidaire)

This replaced a very old mini fridge. Compared to the old one, this one is very light and so cute! Sadly, it arrived damaged and with many flaws. The two back corners were both crumpled, there are scratches on the top of the door and the plastic piece that covers the hinge on top of the door is cracked and broken. Though this may or may not have happened in shipping there are other issues. Both the door to the freezer and the drip tray are badly warped so they don't fit right at all. Not sure why they call it a drip tray as it has slats in it that would let water drain right out of it. The tray is so warped that it won't fit in the rails it is supposed to slide into. The freezer door is warped badly as well. I took a hairdryer to them both to try to straighten them out and make them work. I would add more photos but they only allow 2 apparently. If you looking for a good freezer compartment, skip this fridge. If you are looking for a good quality fridge, find a better one than this. I would send it back but I need it bad enough just to deal with it. It still works so far.

I wanted this fridge because of nostalgic reasons. I read the reviews and was very hesitant to buy it. My family has been using Frigidaire products for generations. Have they "cheapened" over the years? Yes. Have the the prices fallen over the years? Yes. So in this day where everything is made cheaply, it is reflected in the price. I felt the price was great. The color is exactly as it's named "Moonbeam." It looks just like the beaming color of the moon. The handle is made out of plastic, but let's face it, they only reason I bought this fridge was for the looks, and that is exactly what this handle is for is looks. There are ridges at the top of the fridge so you can open it. I did not have any dents or scratches in mine, and it is perfectly quiet. The reason for the 4 stars is because I don't feel the picture was a good representation of the color. It looked silvery metallic or brushed silver to me in the picture. The actual color is very flat, kinda what you would see on a safe.

I think this unit is an absolutely stunning retro addition to my kitchen. Love the color. Cons are the bottom of fridge. It sits on an aluminum ledge which will scratch your kitchen floor! The handle is made of plastic. I elevated the fridge by placing it on a small table. Cut a piece of padded vinyl and placed under the fridge. This way I don’t need to bend to looks for drinks, and clean. I can also place a case of pop or water underneath for refilling. The vinyl keeps the fridge from scratching table.
