Disappointed

I had the passenger Defenders on three SUVs and I couldn't have been happier with them. They did well in all conditions and lasted forever. I put the Defender LTX on my 2023 Tundra, replacing Nitto Ridge Grapplers that were ridiculous on the highway over any distance, and the Defender LTX exhibit higher than expected levels of noise and poor performance on wet roads. Price wasn't really a consideration if I got great tires, but these have been a disappointment.

Quiet, firm and grip like hell

Michelin has never let me down after 55 years of buying their tires. I purchased the Defender LTX M/S2 tires for my 1500 series pickup truck because I wanted good traction on wet slippery roads when I travel. These tires are quiet and the sidewalls are firm enough to help my truck stay level in curves. They blend perfectly with my air-ride suspension. I feel safe with these tires.

Comfort Ride

I have been a fan of these tires for many years. I have had 4 different vehicles over the last 20 years and put Michelin tires on each one. These tires I have had on my last 2 pickup trucks. They handle great. They last longer. They go and most of all stop. On wet rainy roads. Best Tires ever

good over all

for me your sure with Michelin , the durability is 120,000 km for sure if you perform tire rotation ,on a regular base , handling is very nice , no road noise at ALL. traction good year a round , performance better on fuel by 1.5 liter to / 100 km, use less

2020 Tundra OEM tires that only lasted 37,000 miles

I’ve been generally pleased with the performance of these tires—they handle well in both wet and dry conditions, provide a quiet and comfortable ride, and inspire confidence on the road. However, I was disappointed with the tread life. Despite careful and consistent driving, my set needed replacement at around 37,000 miles, well short of the advertised 60,000-mile expectation. Since these came as OEM equipment on my vehicle, there was unfortunately no warranty support available. Overall, great performance, but potential buyers should be aware of the faster-than-expected tread wear.

Great value and performance for the price.

The tires were offered for a fair price, which included a military discount. I am very satisfied with the tire's performance and handling. I have only had them for a few months, but have taken a few multi-state trips and the tires handled great on the Interstates.

Poor milage wear

Tires wore faster than should have. After alittle over 30000 miles on them will need replacing. Had rotations done on timely recommended times. These were my first tire type as I always ran the Michelins A/T before on my RAM and they all lasted. I now am researching other brands also, My driving habits at my age and keeping my Truck serviced don't warrant they should be worn so quickly, so frustrated at this point. No off road driving, most just highway or in town, only 1 tire had to be replaced after about 9 months after hitting large bolt. I did like the handling and quietness.

Early days but solid performance so far

Tires are on a 2016 F-150 King Ranch. So far they have proved to provide a "softer ride" that what they replaced. Traction under wet conditions (torrential down pour with flooded roads) has been very good, no hydroplaning. I see to be getting improved fuel mileage. Handling was a little vague. It is too early to say anything about durability.

Riding on rocks
2 out of 5 stars review

Performance okay, ride is the worst.

First of all, the tire performance has been pretty good in all sorts of weather conditions. At times I’ve experienced light hydroplane issues on my 2017 F-150 2x4 XLT SuperCrew. My biggest issue, and why I despite these tires is the ride. After maybe 9 on the of running them, the ride degraded quickly. They ride like rocks, and every bump has the potential to send jarring shock waves down your rear end and back. It’s really bad. I have had the truck checked, I’ve changed shocks and everything is fine. I’m now approaching time to replace and it’s genuinely the worst ride I’ve had in my 40 years of trucks. I really don’t understand this as I have always used Michelin as my top choice.
