I really love the size and style of this frying pan but, after a couple of years, the coating has come off. It is no longer non-stick and I can only assume we consumed the coating! Gross! I have no idea which frying pan to get next to make sure this doesn't happen as I really liked it when it was new.

This is my 3rd Rock Frypan, only because I have 2 other sizes. I love the quality of my 4 qt. 11" Rock fry pan, because it is practical and affordable. The rock never sticks and conducts the heat evenly. The only reason to lose a star, if you so choose is because the handle is not coated.

I love this set, definitely non stick and scratch resistant. I make steaks and eggs so far in these pans no sticking, I actually let my husband cook only with these pans(he scratches all my pans up my good cook ware pioneer woman) anyways. Great cookware!! Buy this you won’t regret it.

Replaced my old fry pan which also had a lid, think it may have been a less expensive brand possibly T- Fal. ZFor the most part like the new Rock deep Fry Pan however not happy with the lid for 2 reasons: #1. the metal logo in the middle of the rubber handle on the lid will burn your hands if you don't use a mitt, so quite annoying you can't remove the lid unless you are wearing a mitt. #2. the vent hole on top of the lid does not let very much steam escape so you have a lot of water/juices gathering that drip all over (if you're not paying attention) when you remove the lid. I put out the extra $ thinking it would be better than my more reasonably priced T-Fal but feel although the pan is probably better quality it's lacking in overall design & function.

We love this cookware so much that we purchased 2 of the 3-piece sets and a complete set. One of the fry pans from the 3-piece set that we purchased from Sams Club on 10/28/2000 unfortunately has become useless. The food has started to stick so badly that the 12-inch fry pan is no longer usable. I think these pans might have a lifetime warranty so I will have to check in to that.

I bought a set for my husband & I and loved it sooooo much, I bought another set for my parents (their old set of pots & pans needed to be retired)! With Christmas coming I knew all my daughters NEEDED to have a set for themselves!! Like they say, a family that cooks together STAYS together. I love my Rock cookware & just today bought the electric skillet & used it as soon as I got home. Planning my next Rock purchase now hmmmm the Rock Wok… and then the Rock Belgian Waffle maker.. and then….. Can’t wait!!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this frypan at walmart the other and it came with a omlette pan for 20 bucks. These completed my set . I have 3 different size rock pans and the baking sheet pan. We absolutely love this brand. Easy to clean , non stick. Would recommend for everyone.

We have been using "The Rock" products for many years now and we won't buy anything else. They are well built, durable and the non-stick properties are second to none without having to worry about teflon etc.. degrading into the food. We have pots, pans and fryers now and keep adding to our collection.

Perfect for one pot dishes! Great for soups, stews, chili, and anything else you normally have to fry things for then transfer to a pot to cook. Holds so much food it's easy to make enough for leftovers and for freezing at the same time. I cook a lot and find myself using this pan even when I could use a smaller one because of how evenly it distributes heat and nothing I've made sticks to it. They aren't cheap, but worth it.
