With EZ seed, it is especially important to make sure the ground is still visible when the seed has been applied. If Seed was applied to thickly, seed on the bottom will still germinate. Gently water the area for 2 minutes to allow the water to reach the seeds Temperature as well plays a major role in all seeding endeavors. For Cool Season Grasses (Bluegrass, Ryegrass, and Fescue) Soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees (+12.7 Celsius) for grass seed to germinate. The warmer the soil, the faster the germination.
