Expensive Bird Seed

This does a good job where its sunny and firm -- shaded areas need a bit more tlc

Couldn't be easier to use!

EASY TO USE AND CONVENIENT

Can count the blades of grass on one hand

On a 6'x6' area- followed directions accurately and after 3+weeks , I have very ,very little growth- would consider calling it "no" germination for the area as stated above. More filler than seed for sure- waste of time and money.

EZ Seed Sun and Shade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was the wrong time of the year to plant, but went ahead and planted in a small area-to my surprise it grew beautifully, I am now planting the rest of the area that needs grass.

Scotts EZ seed patch& repair sun & shade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Planted seeds on April 25, was starting to come up in about 2 weeks, around June 1st it was all grown in except for a few spots. Very satisfied with the product.

don't waste money

I bought $100 of this and it did not work. I followed the directions religiously and watered as directed. Grass never grew sturdy enough to sustain. Very disappointed

We apologize for the inconvenience experienced with your seed. To go through all that work, and get to see germination just to watch it die is a heartfelt situation that we at Scotts take very serious. We try to let consumers know that watering after germination is just as important as watering before germination takes place. The watering program we try to inform consumers of consists of watering 1-2 times daily. and after germination water 1-1/12 a week or as needed. Extreme heat (90+ degrees Fahrenheit) or frost can also kill the seedlings. Extra watering may prevent the effects but must be done in the morning before the weather peaks out for the day.
