Terrible product. Followed directions to a tee. Temps during the day 70-75. Evening 60-65 Watered according to directions. What I got where a couple of sprouts of grass and a lot of what looks like peat moss. I stopped Scotts lawn Service so they would not put down any weed/feed a month+prior to my seeding. I would not by this product ever again. Very disappointed in A SCOTTS PRODUCT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Rottweiler. He has a tendency to hit certain spots on a regular basis. That means I have a tough repair job in terms of grass seed. Not too mention here in West Central Ohio it has been brutal in terms of what we are used to in terms of heat and sun with little rain. Two weeks after applying EZ Seed Patch and Repair I saw seedlings. 4 weeks later I saw more green than brown. I am now at 6 weeks and this stuff is kicking grass. I watered twice a day when I was able. Missed a few watering times, but this seed made up for my mistakes. I think it is great even under some tough conditions here. I was asked to review this product.

I had construction on my property which destroyed the back yard. Normal seed takes too long to germinate so I used EZ SEED. It worked as described. The grass starns seemed to be thinner than other grass. I let the grass grow for four weeks before cutting. The plastic jug container never seem to be full but the smaller bag seems to be a good value. I was happy with the product.

like every "easy" grass seed product I have tried this product is a waste of money. First, it NOT as easy as the ads claim. They so all you have to do is spread and water. Presto instant grass, not so. When you read the directions they inform that you have to "loosen" the top 2 inches of soil. That means you have to dig up 2 inches of soil, possibly killing what grass that might be there, and making your lawn more suspatable to soil run off when it rains. Then the grass that grows last for about 2 weeks then dies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use scotts EZ seed to repair thoes ugley bald spots in you lawn. Simpley loosen the soil and shake on EZ seed and water . Keep the repaired spots watered and in about 7 days thoes ugley spots will be turning green with new grass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a spot that I've been working on trying to repair for a while and finally tried this seems how it's a small area. I've been watering as per the instructions and it's been a few weeks but the grass is finally coming in very green and thick.

I have a small grass area in my back yard for 16 years and did nothing but water and mow, this year i had a lot of bara places and tried to reseed with other cheaper seed and it just did not work. Then i got Scotts EZ seed. now 3 weeks later i have a full groth of new grass in all the bare areas and have had to mow it for the first time. I live in the SW and have to water daily as thr ground is very poor, i have a dessert landscape in the rest of the area.

i got 6 of these and they grow very nicely. after 6 to 8 weeks the gress just died off. i like scotts but this stuff is no good. your blue grass and pa mix grow better. after spending over 200 on grass seed and starter fertilizer i have very little grass. i just started new grass last week and things are looking good so far.

I purchased this to use on some ruts that were done by a landscape company when they hauled in 10 yards of topsoil for our front flower beds. They threw some dirt in the ruts and then seeded with no straw or any cover. Their seed did not come up. I purchased this bottle using a coupon from the Scott's website. I thought it was still pricey compared to other brands but bought it anyway. I've had good results with other Scotts products in the past and was impressed with their quality. I've used their AccuGreen drop spreader for years. I put down the seed and followed the directions. I knew I had to water it daily for any chance of it coming up. After about 2 weeks, I saw tiny green hairs sprouting through and I knew that it might take. I kept watering it and it became established. That was last year during the summer that I did this. This year, one can still see the ruts but now they are bright green as the grass is greener than the rest of the lawn! The former ruts are now two bright green lush bands of grass, relatively weed-free while the rest of the front lawn is light green and weedy. I wish the rest of the front lawn would look as lush as those former ruts! If this wasn't so expensive, I'd do the entire front yard with this product! I will plan on overseeding the front yard this fall and I'll be certain to use Scotts as their quality can't be beat! It's more expensive but you get what you pay for!
