[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I worried as i used this as here in Jersey the rain has been like every day but the seeds did sprout a nice patch to fill in around areas I had to repair form winter damage and an area where a few eeds took over last year and were wiped out and this seed did the job I was happy with the results

Purchased this product to fill in several bare spots on our lawn. Mostly semi- shaded areas. Found the seed to germinate fast- around 5-7 days. Also the included mulch helped keep the seeded area moist. Keep watering daily or as necessary during germination period. Overall an excellent product. Buy again- YES!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product. By chance some gasoline dripped on my lawn when I was pressure washing my driveway. It killed my grass. I applied Scotts easy seed to the spot I and within seven days I had grass growing again. This product is so simple and easy anybody can use it. Just apply it, water, you have grass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] IF you have mistakes in your lawn, wear spots, dog spots, dead areas for whatever reason - this is your solution! this seed product EZSEED will grow ANYWHERE as long as you keep it watered!! This is amazing - it fixed the edge of my patio in a matter of a few days. The only thing I have done wrong in the past is set it down too think! otherwise, great fix for small areas!

I followed the instructions and used almost a 1/3 of the bag for a small patch during the 3rd week of April. I watered it the 1st day and it rained for a week on and off with some sun. Two weeks later and still Not even one seed grew and they are still laying on the ground. The only sure way to grow grass in manure and grass seed. I would not buy ezseed again!

Doesn't work! I actually bought a couple of these and wish I had only bought one because I used it and it didn't work. I have a big bag I bought at the same time that is too late to return to the store but seeing as the kind in the jug didn't work, I have no doubt the bag won't either. It's a shame because I really like all other Scotts products. We've been complimented on our lawn before and I say it's because I use the Scotts Turfbuilder several times a year.

I tried this on several different occasions from late spring to early fall in multiple different small patches and literally saw little if any sprouts. I recently applied it (early September) to a patch that withered over the summer from heat and dry conditions. I used a rake to loosen the soil, spread the seed, worked it into the soil and it rained on it within 2 days and since has had enough occasional rain and cooler conditions (60-80F) for it to germinate. 2 weeks later, nothing. This was the last straw. (no pun intended). It proves to me that I at least received a faulty product even if no one else did. The "seed" seems to be placebo or inert.

It works for me and my family on all types of soil and it is so easy to know how much and when to water I showed my wife to do the watering for me. Very happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is simple to use. Just loosen the soil or purple a few inches of new soil over the spot to be repaired. Water twice a day or as needed. See color if light it need moisture. Dark is is good. Read the easy directions on the container. I like the results and the seeds will adjust for sun or shade from seed mixture. III use this annually every spring and during summer for repairs. I use 100 per-cent Scott's seed. It meets my expectations.

I purchased EZseed to plant in bare spots around my yard where the grass was not growing. I followed the directions to the letter. The results were not so good! Very little grass grew in these areas. I was dissatifed with the results. I have been happy with most of the other Scotts products that I have used in the past. I would not recommend this product.
